This year, the 48th anniversary of Land Day coincides with the heroic battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, which our patient and steadfast people and our valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip have been waging for a full six months, with all faith, sacrifice, and steadfastness, defending their land, their rights, and their sanctities. Today, the souls of the martyrs of Al-Aqsa Flood embrace the souls of martyrs from our people on March 30, 1976, and their pure blood mixes on the land of Gaza of glory, with the blood of our people's martyrs in the Triangle, Al-Jalil, and Al-Naqab in our lands occupied in 1948.

Land Day will remain an eternal national symbol and a proud milestone in the history of our struggling people, from which our people continue to draw the features of steadfastness, resilience, sacrifice, and challenge, to keep the flame of resistance burning in the face of the occupation, its fascist government, and its settler hordes, in all the arenas of the homeland, which will not end and will not be extinguished except with total liberation, and the establishment of the fully sovereign Palestinian state with its capital in Al-Quds.

On the 48th anniversary of Land Day, we in Hamas; mourn the souls of our noble martyrs in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Al-Quds, the occupied interior, and in the refugee camps and diaspora, we ask Allah the Almighty for healing for the wounded and sick, and we send a salute of pride and dignity to our victorious resistance and Brigades, and we affirm the following:

First: The historical land of Palestine, at its heart Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque, is the axis of the struggle with the zionist enemy, and liberation is only possible by establishing the choice of comprehensive resistance against the zionist enemy and enhancing national unity.

Second: We will remain loyal to the martyrs whose blood watered the land of Palestine in defense of it, and in protection of its Islamic and Christian sanctities, since the usurpers' feet stepped its blessed land, and we will not relent a single inch of it, no matter the sacrifices, and this enemy will not succeed through its crimes of settlement, Judaization, massacres of killing, genocidal warfare, and ethnic cleansing in achieving its aggressive objectives, whether in the Gaza Strip, or across our occupied lands.

Firstly: We salute the anniversary of Land Day, which represented a qualitative, accumulative event in the ongoing and comprehensive battle our people are fighting against the racist zionist settler colonial project. The Arab masses in the occupied interior demonstrated on this day their determination to hold onto their land and not relinquish it, and the unity of the land, identity, and destiny. We call them to unite and confront the racist zionist policies and laws, and the necessity to leave any illusions that see in the political participation and the electoral and parliamentary engagement in the enemy's institutions, and rejecting all justifications demolished by the aggressive nature of the entity and its racist view of the Arab masses as minorities and a demographic and strategic thread to the future of the entity.

Secondly: We affirm our people's adherence to our entire land from its river to its sea, and to our legitimate and established rights for the return of the refugees to their land and homes from which they were forcibly displaced. Preserving identity and defending the Palestinian existence requires comprehensive resistance and widespread popular field engagement outside the enemy's institutions, on the principle that rights are taken, not begged for; what was taken by force can only be retrieved by force, not by begging, settlement, and negotiations that led to a real catastrophe for our people.

Thirdly: What the epic of Al-Aqsa Flood achieved in terms of important field achievements and a strategic defeat for the zionist entity and its military and security system, and what is happening from an unprecedented and ongoing zionist genocide war on the Gaza Strip revealed the true face of this criminal zionist entity and its sponsors from the American administration and the West, which for the first time in its history stands accused as a terrorist criminal entity before the International Court of Justice. What is happening are facts carrying historical shifts, bringing the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of global events and leading the international agenda, putting the zionist entity in front of a real existential crisis it will not be able to recover from, and will enhance the state of rift, fragmentation, contradictions, and self-implosion within it.

Fourthly: Despite all forms of killing, destruction, massacres, starvation warfare, and siege, the zionist enemy failed to achieve any of its declared goals from the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and the resistance continues steadfastly to exhaust the zionist enemy and wage against it a long war of attrition. The large losses suffered by the zionist enemy, and the resistance's ability to strike even in the areas that have been invaded and destroyed, indicate that the zionist enemy is sinking in the quagmire of the Gaza Strip, and it is far from and unable to achieve any of its goals.

Fifthly: We confirm that all the occupation and the American administration's plans for the so-called "day after" the war on the Strip or the guardianship or bringing international peace forces or imposing administration on the Strip or intervening in Palestinian affairs under humanitarian or relief pretexts, are suspicious attempts inevitably doomed to fail, for the Palestinian people are the ones who will determine the future of the Gaza Strip and its political system, and will resist and confront these plans.

Sixthly: On the anniversary of Land Day, we renew the call to restore the Arab and international dimensions and mobilize all the energies of peoples, parties, and friendly global movements to innovate and escalate forms of struggle to support the Palestinian people, and to continue besieging the zionist and Western embassies and the headquarters of international institutions in support of the cause of Palestine. We see in the massive and angry demonstrations in the squares of some Arab countries, especially those that have relations with the zionist entity, a glimmer of hope in the Arab peoples regaining the initiative, rising up for Palestine, rejecting normalization, and sweeping the zionist entity from our Arab lands.
