🔴 Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Deputy Secretary-General Jamil Mezher led a delegation of Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, PIJ, and PFLP-GC, in a meeting with the Secretary-General of Asai'b Al-Haq movement in Iraq, Sheikh Qais Khazali in Baghdad, Iraq.
The Palestinian leadership delegation reviewed the latest developments with respect to the ongoing negotiations to stop the war. They emphasized the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the continuity of resistance.
Mezher spoke on behalf of the Palestinian factions, thanking Sheikh Khazali for the reception. He stated that Iraq's people and government have always supported the Palestinian cause, and mentioned the participation of the Iraqi army in the 1948 Battle of Jenin, whose martyrs are buried in Jenin.
Mezher explained that Al-Aqsa Flood shocked the entire zionist system and restored hope for liberation, emphasizing that the IOF would not achieve its goals of eliminating resistance or creative alternative administrations. He stated that Al-Aqsa Flood disrupted normalization.
