The occupation forces release the heroic prisoner and fighter Mahmoud Al-Debai from Jenin camp after he spent two years and two months in the occupation prisons.
Mahmoud was detained after he fought a heroic six-hour-long battle in May 2022 from inside his besieged home in #Jenin until he ran out of ammo. The IOF bombed the besieged home at that time, destroying it and wounding Mahmoud.
A zionist special forces officer was revealed to have been killed in vicinity of the home days later after a long gag order.
During his arrest, Mahmoud underwent a hunger strike in demand for his release. His father remains detained by the occupation under administrative detention without charge or trial.
Mahmoud describes the situation of the prisoners inside the occupation prisons: "The situation is very harsh. The prisoners endure an unimaginable suffering from humiliation, beating, repression, the use of gas against them, beatings with sticks, breaking bones systematically. It is truly the cemetery of the living. Every day they repress the prisoners and fire gas a at them. There are no food or drink nor cleaning supplies. The prisoners cannot shave. I haven't shaved since the beginning of the war, 9 months. I have been detained 9 months during the war and left but God knows for how much longer the prisoners will stay. Inshallah they will be freed soon."
When asked about his arm, Mahmoud explains that a repression force entered and began beating the prisoners saying that his shoulder was dislocated and that he is the least severe case. "People lost their eyes," he added. "Some people sleep while sitting like I am right now because they do not have ribs! Some people were beaten on their arms and legs. Some people lost the feeling of their arms, they cannot move them. Some people lost their eyes. Some people were martyred. It is truly unbelievable."
