🚨 Missile sirens ring in "Shoumera" and "Zarit" in northwestern occupied Palestine.

🚨 Dr. Issam Abu Ajwa returns to work in Deir Al-Balah, #Gaza, after being abducted and detained for 200 days in the occupation's prisons.

Dr. Abu Ajwa explains how he headed to Al-Maamadani (Baptist) Hospital in northern #Gaza where he worked as a volunteer surgeon at the beginning of the war in service of his homeland. He remained there until he was arrested on 17/12/2023.

He recalls how he was taken among other prisoners with no clothes to an area near the sea where it was extremely cold and then transported to IOF military barracks. There, interrogations were ongoing for 125 days around the clock, while they had their hands and feet cuffed, and their eyes covered.

The prisoners were tortured by the IOF who poured cold water on them and directed ventilators and cold air towards them. Every two hours, they were taken to a new interrogator. The IOF asked Dr. Issam about the zionist captives to which he replied: "As a retired doctor, I don't know anything about captives or wounded. I work at a private hospital belonging to the Church."

When one of the interrogators found out that Dr. Abu Ajwa was a surgeon, he told pointed towards his arm and said: "I will make you get out of here no longer a surgeon because I will make your hands paralyzed. You will not be able to use them anymore."

Dr. Issam Abu Ajwa said: "I told the interrogator 'I promise you that when I get out of here, even if on a wheelchair, I will head to the operation room.' And here I am in the operation room."

🚨 The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a 17-year-old martyr has been retrieved from Meithalun, #Jenin. He is being transferred to the Turkish Hospital in #Tubas.

Another Palestinian has been seriously wounded by IOF bullets after the forces invaded the town.

❗ UAE deported a university student for yelling “Free Palestine” at a New York University (NYU) Abu Dhabi graduation ceremony, as reported by The New Arab on 10 July:

○ Eyewitnesses said that the student was wearing a Keffiyeh and shouted “Free Palestine” while crossing the stage to receive his diploma.

○ Following the commencement, the student was taken into police custody prior to being deported, according to the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).

○ In a statement, the AAUP said that the university failed to ”protect students, staff, and faculty from being taken into custody and interrogated at government security offices and has failed to prevent the deportation of one academic staff member and a graduate student."

○ It added that staff and students from non-Western countries had been “detained, intimidated, and deported based on surveillance.”

The Democratic Front Delegation Leaves Doha After Successful Rounds of Dialogue with Hamas Leaders

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement saying that its delegation, led by Secretary-General Fahd Suleiman, left the Qatari capital, Doha, after successful and fruitful rounds of dialogue with the leadership of the Hamas movement, headed by its political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh.

The Democratic Front stated: The in-depth, transparent, and frank dialogues conducted by its delegation with the Hamas leadership covered all aspects of the Palestinian cause, particularly the necessary ways to support our people and their resistance in the Gaza Strip. This includes continuing efforts to achieve a ceasefire, expelling the occupation from the Strip, breaking the siege, and opening crossings to allow the flow of essential aid. Additionally, rebuilding the healthcare system, transferring critically injured patients abroad for treatment in friendly and brotherly countries, launching an international project to rebuild what the fascist "israeli" invasion destroyed, and developing methods and tools to confront the "israeli" settlement invasion of the cities, towns, and camps of the West Bank were discussed.

Both sides emphasized the need for the success of the comprehensive national dialogue, called for by the Chinese capital, to end division and restore institutional internal unity, including forming a national consensus government of competencies with a reference from the PLO, which would be responsible for the tasks required for the so-called "day after" the war. This would also block projects that aim to separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank and ensure the unity of the lands of the State of Palestine. In this context, the Democratic Front called for the formation of a unified Palestinian delegation to manage negotiations for a ceasefire and organize a serious prisoner exchange process.

Both sides reaffirmed the representative position of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and its inclusive national program: self-determination, a fully sovereign independent state with Al-Quds as its capital based on the June 4, 1967 borders, and the return of refugees. They also stressed that the decisions of international legitimacy and international law are the legal reference for the national solution to the Palestinian cause.
