With deep sorrow and grief, the Islamic Jihad Movement mourns the martyrdom of the prisoner Mustafa Mohammed Abu Ora, aged 63, from the town of Aqaba/Jenin, who was martyred in "israeli" occupation prisons due to inhumane conditions, deprivation, brutal torture, and harsh treatment that all Palestinian prisoners endure.

The martyrdom of prisoner Mustafa Abu Ora, one of the Marj al-Zuhur deportees who spent 12 years in prisons, is yet another testimony to the systematic torture and deliberate medical neglect practiced by the occupation against our brave prisoners. This heinous crime adds to its black record of human rights violations and breaches of international conventions.

We call on international and human rights organizations to stand by the prisoners in "israeli" prisons and pressure the occupation to end its brutal practices and ensure prisoners' rights.

And indeed, it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.

The martyrdom of the leader Sheikh Mustafa Mustafa Abu Ora, aged 63, from the town of Aqaba in Tubas [who ascended] after being transferred from "Ramon" prison to "Soroka" hospital due to the deterioration of his health following a long struggle with illness and deliberate medical neglect he faced in the occupation prisons, in yet another cowardly assassination added to the occupation’s criminal record against our prisoners.

As Hamas extends its condolences to the family of the martyr, it promises the prisoners imminent freedom and deliverance from the prisons of injustice, medical neglect, and inhumane treatment they endure around the clock, which has intensified and escalated under the current zionist government’s decisions.

The leader Sheikh Abu Ora, who carried a national, religious, and social record filled with years of effort, struggle, sacrifice, and giving; faced persecution, deportation to Marj Al-Zuhur, and arrest by the occupation multiple times totaling more than 12 years. Today, he ascends after a slow execution carried out against him since the moment of his arrest and denial of treatment.

This heinous crime falls within the continuous genocide and systematic killing operations carried out by the occupation with political decisions and public incitement from the government ministers, who call for the killing and disposal of prisoners.

We call upon all the fighters, whom the martyred Sheikh raised, to direct their bullets and explosive devices towards the occupation soldiers and settlers in revenge for the blood of the martyr and the martyrs of our noble people.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns the leader of Hamas and one of its founders in the occupied West Bank, the heroic prisoner Mustafa Abu Ora, from the town of Aqaba in Tubas, who was martyred inside the occupation's prisons as a result of torture and the deliberate medical neglect policy practiced by the criminal zionist enemy against our heroic prisoners.

The Front holds the zionist occupation and its cowardly leaders fully responsible for the assassination crime, which amounts to a war crime.

We condemn the "israeli" occupation’s assassination of the imprisoned leader Mustafa Abu Ora inside the prisons, joining more than 55 martyr prisoners killed by the occupation inside the prisons since the start of the genocide war.

The "israeli" occupation committed crimes against humanity and used prisoners from Gaza as human shields during the genocide war. We have obtained shocking and horrifying testimonies.

The Ministry of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners in Gaza condemned the "israeli" occupation’s assassination of the Palestinian prisoner leader Mustafa Abu Ora inside the prisons due to torture and deliberate medical negligence in the occupation's prisons, joining more than 55 martyr prisoners killed by the occupation inside the prisons since the start of the genocide war through the same methods of torture and medical neglect.

The ministry confirmed that more than 38 prisoners from Gaza, who were arrested by the occupation army during the genocide war on Gaza, were martyred under torture and due to inhumane detention conditions and systematic assault on the prisoners since October 7th, practicing the most horrific methods of slow killing without accountability.

The "israeli" occupation detains about 5000 prisoners from Gaza, and accurate information about them is not available due to the occupation’s violations and enforced disappearances, which are considered crimes against humanity.

The Ministry of Prisoners and Released Prisoners in Gaza documented shocking and horrifying testimonies given by recently released prisoners from Gaza about the brutal practices of the "israeli" occupation army, which constitute crimes against humanity and violate all rules and principles of international and humanitarian law.

One of the released prisoners narrated in a testimony that the "israeli" occupation army used several prisoners as human shields during its invasion of more than one camp and neighborhood in Gaza, especially in Jabalia camp, where the occupation dressed them in "israeli" army uniforms and forced them under threat of weapons and surveillance of "quadcopter" drones to advance in front of tanks and military vehicles in the camp streets amidst bombardment and shooting, exposing their lives to actual danger of death.

The ministry also obtained recent testimonies indicating that after arresting dozens of citizens in the northern Strip, the "israeli" army gathered them blindfolded and naked, placed them in the bucket of a military bulldozer, piled on top of each other, and then the driver repeatedly slammed the bucket to the ground while they were inside it, causing immediate deaths for some and leaving others alive with broken and shattered bones. The survivors were then taken to prisons, while the martyrs were buried in a large pit dug by the occupation army.

The Ministry of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners asserts that the occupation’s prisons have become very crowded with prisoners of all categories and ages, with indicators of epidemics and diseases due to the overcrowding and lack of medicines or medical clinics, and also a deliberate famine by the prison administration which does not provide enough food for this large number of prisoners.
