🚨 Missile sirens ring in “Zar’it” and “Shoumera” in northern occupied Palestine.

🚨 The occupation forces continue to besiege Al-Israa Hospital in #Tulkarem.

At least 10 injuries have been reported so far due to the IOF invasion including 6 by IOF live bullets.

Reports indicate a serious injury by occupation bullets in the vicinity of Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem, and the occupation forces prevent medical crews from reaching it, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

🚨 The IOF continues to launch violent strikes in southern Lebanon. In the past hour:

IOF drones raided the town of Houla without causing any casualties.

An IOF Merkava tank targeted the town of Kfar Shuba.

10 artillery shells targeted the southern outskirts of the town of Kfar Shuba.

🚨 An anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon towards “Metulla” in northeastern occupied Palestine, hitting a building according to zionist media.

Clarification Issued by the Government Media Office Regarding the Adoption of Martyr Numbers in Statements Directed to Various Media Outlets

The Government Media Office has received numerous inquiries regarding the adoption of martyr numbers issued in the office's statements and directed to various media outlets. In this regard, we would like to clarify the matter as follows:

First, there is absolutely no conflict between the Government Media Office and the Palestinian Ministry of Health regarding the reporting of martyr numbers.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health adopts the numbers according to the protocol in place, following the World Health Organization, which is based on the number of martyrs who reach hospitals, undergo medical examination, are confirmed as martyrs, and whose bodies are placed in hospital morgues before being handed over to their families for burial in cemeteries.

When the Government Media Office announces martyr numbers, these figures are not solely based on the Ministry of Health’s numbers. They include the total number of martyrs killed in the crime itself, which includes the martyrs who reached hospitals as well as those who have not reached hospitals and are still under the rubble, under the sand, or under debris as a result of the occupation’s crime.

To further clarify with an example: The "israeli" occupation army committed a horrific massacre at dawn today, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. This massacre resulted in 40 martyrs and over 60 injuries. Of those martyrs, 19 reached the hospitals, while we confirm that we have the names of 22 other martyrs who have not yet reached the hospitals, due to the fact that the massive bombs launched by the "israeli" occupation fell in the midst of a crowded area of displaced people. As a result, all the displaced persons who were at the center of the bombing and the target area were vaporized, and their bodies disappeared. Thus, we have found no trace of these bodies, which were melted by the bombing and the three explosions caused by these massive bombs. This means that those who were at the center of the bombing, we have not yet found their bodies, and the government teams are still searching for the missing in this area.

In this crime, the Ministry of Health reports the number of 19 martyrs whose bodies reached hospitals. However, the Government Media Office relies on the number of all the martyrs who fell in this crime, including those who reached hospitals (19 martyrs), in addition to the martyrs who did not reach hospitals, whose bodies were vaporized and melted due to the bombs (21 martyrs). Therefore, it is not logical to exclude martyrs who were indeed martyred by the occupation in these crimes, and it is also unacceptable not to mention their numbers in official statements. Regarding this massacre, it is possible that the total number of martyrs may rise to 41 – until now – as there is one additional martyr whose body is currently being searched for among the list of martyrs who have not reached hospitals.
