A new massacre has been committed by the terrorist occupation army, as it carried out an intense, brutal bombardment targeting a densely populated residential area east of Al-Bureij camp. This attack resulted in the destruction of several homes over the heads of their residents, causing dozens of martyrs and injured people, most of whom are still under the rubble, without the ability to retrieve them or reach them due to the ongoing random artillery shelling in the area.

These heinous and repeated crimes are a clear insistence by the terrorist occupation army on waging a war of genocide and direct, deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians, amidst an appalling international silence and the complete paralysis of the international system to play its role in enforcing laws protecting civilians during wars. It is also failing to compel the occupation government to implement decisions to cease aggression and hold the zionist war criminals accountable for their crimes.

We affirm that these continuous massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip, committed with the complicity and support of the U.S. administration and Western capitals, will not weaken the determination and steadfastness of our Palestinian people. We condemn the international silence and complicity regarding the ongoing genocidal crimes against Gaza, the latest of which is the heinous crime in the al-Bureij refugee camp—an atrocity committed against civilians and displaced persons who have been uprooted from their homes due to zionist terrorism.

We hold the U.S. administration and its President, Biden, primarily responsible for this crime and all the systematic crimes against our people, as it continues to support the zionist entity and its fascist government, providing international cover and supplying it with weapons.

The enemy seeks to retaliate against our steadfast and patient people, having been thwarted and failed in its plans to displace our people. These plans have shattered against the rock of our legendary steadfastness. We affirm that the enemy, with its brutal crimes, will not undermine the determination and resistance of our people.

The arrest of the activist Abla Sa’adat is a new crime targeting the steadfastness and struggle of Palestinian women.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirmed that the arrest of national activist comrade Abla Sa’adat, wife of the imprisoned Secretary-General and leader comrade Ahmad Sa’adat, constitutes a new zionist crime added to the long list of crimes committed by the occupation against our people.

The Front clarified that this arrest comes as part of a systematic policy targeting leaders of the national and women's movement, as well as their families, in a desperate attempt to deter them from continuing their struggle against the occupation.

The Front pointed out that targeting the activist Sa’adat, who has always suffered from the bitterness of imprisonment and who represents a symbol of steadfastness and struggle alongside her companion, comrade Abu Ghassan, the Secretary-General, and a group of activists, falls within a scheme aimed at targeting Palestinian leadership, particularly Palestinian women who have always been at the forefront of the national movement.

The Front emphasized that such crimes will not weaken the determination of our people nor affect the will of the fighters who continue their resistance despite all of the occupation’s failed attempts to break them. Moreover, it will not weaken the resolve of national activist Abla Sa’adat or undermine the advanced revolutionary model represented by leader Ahmad Sa’adat.

The Front added that this arrest highlights the criminal policies of the occupation towards Palestinian women, who are continuously subjected to abuse and imprisonment, as is happening with the activist comrade Khalida Jarrar, who remains in solitary confinement and is subjected to further abuse and repression. The Front noted that these crimes aim to undermine the role of women in the national movement.

The Front called for escalating all forms of support and solidarity with the female and male prisoners to continue pressuring the occupation to stop its repressive policies and crimes against the prisoners. This escalation requires expanding international efforts aimed at ending the suffering of the prisoners and prosecuting the zionist jailers for their crimes against them.

The Popular Front mourns the loss of the French international activist Suzanne Lumanzo and considers her passing a great loss for the struggle for Palestine and the prisoners.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) mourns, to our people and the free people of the world, the international French activist Suzanne Lumanzo, who passed away after a long struggle with illness.

The Front praises the virtues of the late activist and her continuous struggle for Palestine and Palestinian prisoners, as well as her support for the comrade and fighter Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, who remains imprisoned in French jails. The late activist was a founding member of the "Campaign for the Release of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah" and a staunch supporter of Palestinian female prisoners and global liberation causes.

Suzanne Lumanzo was also active in participating in and organizing events in support of the international leader, Comrade Ahmad Sa’adat, Secretary-General of the PFLP, and his comrades in the occupation’s prisons, constantly affirming the necessity of liberating Palestine from the river to the sea.

The late activist was a tireless force of energy and activity. Despite her age and illness, she dedicated her life to defending Palestine, advocating for the release of prisoners and Georges Abdallah, and fighting for the just causes of refugees.

Despite the deterioration of her health in recent months, she continued to participate in mass protests denouncing the zionist genocide against the Gaza Strip and the French government’s complicity in these crimes. She always raised the Palestinian flag and the photos of the prisoners inside and outside of France, even in her worst health conditions.

Every year, the late activist delivered a statement from Comrade Georges Abdallah outside the gates of his prison in Lannemezan, even in the most difficult and harshest circumstances. She read the latest statement last April, despite her illness, remaining the echo of the imprisoned fighter’s voice in the face of French imperial tyranny.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine extends its heartfelt condolences to her comrades and friends in France and everywhere, especially the Campaign for the Release of Georges Abdallah, to her family, and her life partner, Comrade Bernard. The Front affirms that Suzanne Lumanzo’s legacy will remain a beacon inspiring all fighters to continue the path toward freedom and liberation.
