The adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution calling on the zionist entity to end its illegal presence in the occupied territories based on the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice is a positive step that contributes to the isolation of the fascist zionist entity, but it requires practical steps that oblige the occupation, hold it accountable, and lift its legitimacy.

We affirm that all official and popular steps supporting the Palestinian cause came as a result of the sacrifices of our steadfast Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the bravery of their resistance in the face of the crimes of genocide committed by the fascist entity's government.

The procedures of the zionist occupation against Palestinian prisoners, particularly the deliberate medical neglect that has led to the spread of diseases among them, especially in "Ofer" Prison's youth section where scabies has become widespread, represent a continuation of a series of war crimes and crimes against humanity. This is in violation of international laws and the Geneva Conventions, particularly the Third Geneva Convention concerning the treatment of prisoners of war.

We call on the international community and international institutions, such as the Red Cross and other human rights organizations, as well as all those concerned with human dignity and freedom, to stand up to their responsibilities in the face of these clear and flagrant violations of international laws and human rights perpetrated by the zionist occupation against our brave prisoners in its oppressive jails. The UN vote to end the occupation is a moral victory that reflects the worsening isolation of the zionist entity and requires pressure from our people’s supporters to break the American veto.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomes the vote of the majority of members of the United Nations General Assembly on a resolution calling for an end to the "israeli" occupation of the occupied Palestinian territories within 12 months.

The Front considers this vote a moral victory in the context of international recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people, and clear evidence of the increasing isolation suffered by the zionist entity.

The US vote against the resolution is a repeated demonstration of its partnership and fundamental support for the zionist genocidal regime, and its clear hostility to the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Front stresses that transforming this resolution into executive steps on the ground will clash with the American veto in the Security Council, which has long obstructed dozens of similar resolutions; therefore, this resolution will remain in a symbolic context and cannot be implemented on the ground.
