The UN vote to end the occupation is a moral victory that reflects the worsening isolation of the zionist entity and requires pressure from our people’s supporters to break the American veto.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomes the vote of the majority of members of the United Nations General Assembly on a resolution calling for an end to the "israeli" occupation of the occupied Palestinian territories within 12 months.

The Front considers this vote a moral victory in the context of international recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people, and clear evidence of the increasing isolation suffered by the zionist entity.

The US vote against the resolution is a repeated demonstration of its partnership and fundamental support for the zionist genocidal regime, and its clear hostility to the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Front stresses that transforming this resolution into executive steps on the ground will clash with the American veto in the Security Council, which has long obstructed dozens of similar resolutions; therefore, this resolution will remain in a symbolic context and cannot be implemented on the ground.

The Front calls on the countries that support the rights of our people and believe in human justice to escalate their efforts, not only on the diplomatic and international levels, but also by making efforts to boycott the occupation and impose military, economic and political sanctions on it, prosecute its leaders in international courts, and activate all pressure cards to break the American veto and American arrogance; without that, these decisions will remain ink on paper and locked in the closed drawers of international institutions.
