The enemy, failing on the battlefield and unable to achieve any of its war objectives, resorted to waging a genocide war against civilians, killing tens of thousands of martyrs and injuring many more, destroying homes, trees, and infrastructure, targeting shelters and medical centers, showing no regard for any sanctities, all in hopes of breaking our people or distancing them from the resistance. Yet, contrary to what the occupation hoped, we saw our people rushing to join the ranks of the fighters, before and during the war, to engage in this sacred battle.
Our brave West Bank did not hesitate to join this Flood that shook the pillars of the occupation.
Its courageous fighters rose against the occupation’s army and its military outposts and settler gangs. They executed heroic operations in the West Bank and within the occupied territories, establishing fortified bases in several Palestinian cities and camps, where resistance fighters from all factions collaborated, developed their tools, and confronted the occupation forces that sought to uproot them and punish them for their resistance.
They inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, and they are still preparing for more. The best is yet to come from the heroes and fighters of the West Bank, with the help of Allah.
O people of our free nation,
It is with great pride and honor that we witness the fighters from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq joining forces with the fighters of our people, supporting them by directly engaging in the battle, targeting enemy forces and military bases, and inflicting losses. Likewise, the powerful strikes carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the zionist entity announced their solidarity with our people and their support for the resistance. All of these fronts have sacrificed martyrs and made great sacrifices on the path to Al-Quds. The blood of their fighters and leaders has mixed with the blood of our people, leaders, and fighters, affirming the unity of purpose, blood, and destiny. Palestine is not alone, and this battle, which ignited from Gaza, will change the face of the region, paving the way for the liberation of Palestine and the defeat of the occupation, Allah willing.
The leadership of the Palestinian resistance factions, represented by the Joint Operations Room, stands united in its decision and vision. We have fought every stage of this battle as one, conducting indirect negotiations for months with a unified and agreed-upon approach, and we will remain so in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, the suffering of the afflicted, the displaced, and the prisoners. We will continue to defend our people with all the strength we possess, never abandoning our duty. We remain committed to stopping the bloodshed, but not at the expense of our people's legitimate rights.
You, O people of Palestine, deserve so much. We have resisted together, offered martyrs together, and we will overcome this ordeal together. We will rebuild what the occupation has destroyed together because you are part of us, and we are part of you. The blood of the leaders and fighters that has been shed is a sacrifice for you, and it is part of your own sacrifices. Rest assured that Allah will not let these sacrifices go in vain, but rather, they will bear the fruits of goodness and victory for our people and our nation, even if it takes time.

The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle marks a strategic turning point in our struggle, and the resistance will not be broken.
On the first anniversary of the epic crossing of October 7th (the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle), we proudly and reverently recall this exceptional event in the history of our Palestinian people’s struggle. This moment embodied the steadfast will of the resistance in confronting the brutal occupation. This battle represented a strategic shift in the conflict, revealing the enemy’s weakness, fragility, and the cracks in its military security system, further deepening its internal crises.
On this glorious day last year, hundreds of resistance fighters dealt a crushing defeat to the [IOF] Gaza Division, managing to control large parts of our occupied lands within hours and returning with hundreds of captured soldiers and officers.
Over the past year of systemsatic zionist aggression, the resistance has executed high-level operations that paralyzed the enemy’s military capabilities and confused its leadership, which falsely assumed it could eradicate the resistance within weeks. During the ground maneuvers, the occupation suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment, despite employing scorched-earth tactics. The resistance continued to bombard “israeli” cities and settlements with rockets, striking deep into zionist territory.
The unity of the fields among the factions of the Axis of Resistance, from Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, became evident, with active participation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, which contributed to depleting the enemy and developing the equation of deterrence using missiles and drones to strike deep within zionist territory. This strengthened the resistance’s presence on the regional stage.
On the political and international front, the zionist entity found itself in unprecedented isolation, with global protests against its brutal crimes intensifying. The International Court of Justice issued rulings condemning the occupation’s crimes, despite the constraints imposed by American pressure. International pressure on the entity increased in global forums, and the Palestinian voice rose against zionist lies, leading to unprecedented global protests, particularly in universities worldwide.
Our people and resistance made enormous sacrifices over the past year, with hundreds of thousands of martyrs, wounded, missing, and prisoners. The conflict expanded from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank and then to Lebanon.
In this battle, great leaders ascended as martyrs, foremost among them the martyr leader, Sayyed of the Martyrs, Hassan Nasrallah; the symbolic leader, Ismail Haniyeh; leader Saleh Al-Arouri; and a long list of leaders and cadres from the PFLP, led by comrade Nidal Abdul Aal, member of the Political Bureau and head of the security and military department.
Gaza and the West Bank witnessed widespread destruction of infrastructure due to unprecedented, barbaric zionist bombing, worse than in any previous conflict or war. This led to the suffering of hundreds of thousands of forcibly displaced people, with the occupation committing unprecedented crimes against civilians, bombing hospitals, schools, and vital facilities, preventing humanitarian aid, and targeting journalists in its pursuit of genocide and displacement.
Despite the enemy's attempts to displace our people in Gaza and the West Bank, the steadfastness of the people and the resistance thwarted these plans, and the enemy failed to achieve its goals of crushing the resistance or retrieving the hostages.
The resistance managed to compensate for its leadership losses, regain control of the battle, and prove that the West Bank is a key player in the struggle with the rising armed resistance.

On the first anniversary of the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, we in the Fatah Movement of the Intifada in occupied Palestine direct a greeting of pride and honor to our steadfast and patient people in Gaza and to their heroic resistance that thwarted all the plans and goals of the occupying government. We reaffirm our loyalty to the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners by remaining committed to their path, the path of resistance and jihad, until the defeat of the usurping zionist entity.
On the seventh of October, the reality of the conflict in the region was restored, which is a struggle between the Arab nationalist and jihadist Islamic project and the American imperialist zionist project, after the United States and its allies in the region attempted to distort the conflict and turn it into a sectarian and confessional struggle. On the seventh of October, this bet failed, and along with it fell the train of normalization that was moving full speed ahead. With the blood of the martyrs, the Palestinian narrative triumphed over the zionist narrative, and the free peoples of the world triumphed for the Palestinian cause.
On the first anniversary of the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, we send greetings to the Axis of Resistance, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and congratulate it for fulfilling its True Promise. We also greet the Syrian Arab Republic as it faces the zionist aggression and its terrorist tools. On the first anniversary of the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, we in the Fatah Movement of the Intifada in occupied Palestine direct a greeting of pride and honor to our steadfast and patient people in Gaza and to their heroic resistance that thwarted all the plans and goals of the occupying government. We reaffirm our loyalty to the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners by remaining committed to their path, the path of resistance and jihad, until the defeat of the usurping zionist entity.
On the seventh of October, the reality of the conflict in the region was restored, which is a struggle between the Arab nationalist and jihadist Islamic project and the American imperialist zionist project, after the United States and its allies in the region attempted to distort the conflict and turn it into a sectarian and confessional struggle. On the seventh of October, this bet failed, and along with it fell the train of normalization that was moving full speed ahead. With the blood of the martyrs, the Palestinian narrative triumphed over the zionist narrative, and the free peoples of the world triumphed for the Palestinian cause.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation, in which the will of the Palestinian resistance was manifested in confronting aggression, oppression, and occupation that has afflicted this oppressed people since 1948, followed by wars, tragedies, and destruction. This operation will have historical effects and strategic results on the overall situation in the region until justice is achieved with the end of the occupation, and the Palestinian people regain their rightful, complete freedom from the river to the sea.
On this historic occasion, we reaffirm the following:
1 - The full right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means necessary to restore their legitimate rights and expel the occupation.
2 - Despite the brutality of the occupation and its aggression, which led to the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the ruthless destruction of the Gaza Strip, this oppressive, aggressive entity has proven to be fragile and incapable of survival without American support.
3- There is no place for this temporary zionist entity in our region or within our social, cultural, and human fabric. It remains a malignant cancerous tumor that must be eradicated, no matter how long it takes.
4 - The United States of America, along with its allies and tools in the world and the region, are partners in this occupation's aggression and its crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the peoples of the region. They bear full responsibility for the killing, crimes, and devastating humanitarian tragedies.
5 - We commend the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance after a year of patience, endurance, and heroism, despite the immense suffering and pain. They are deserving of victory.
6 - We salute the strength and courage of our fighting brothers on the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq, as well as the historic decision by the Islamic Republic of Iran to strike the heart of the zionist entity with missiles in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. This has had profound impacts and significant results on the nature of this open confrontation with the zionist enemy.
7 - Hezbollah's decision to open the support front on October 8th to back the Palestinian people and their honorable resistance is a decision in favor of justice and full humanity. At the same time, it is a decision to defend Lebanon and its people, for which our resistance and people have paid a heavy price, both in leadership and in military and material structures, as well as through the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians and the heavy destruction of private properties.
