As amended by House:
New Paragraph; Patients' Bill of Rights; Vaccination Status. Amend RSA 151:21 by inserting after paragraph XXI the following new paragraph:
XXII. The patient shall not be denied admission, care, or services based solely on the patient's vaccination status.
Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

March 23rd Executive Session HB1642-FN-L OPPOSE
- relative to lead testing in children
We are looking for an ITL recommendation (inexpedient to legislate) out of Committee
House Finance Committee will vote on what recommendation will move to the House.

This bill establishes a blood lead level testing requirement for children entering day care and public schools, as well as reporting requirements for health care providers regarding the tests.

The Finance Subcommittee rejected the use of the school system to monitor and control parental behavior. The goal shifts to provide education on this matter. More detailed explanation at hfnh.org/bills.

March 24th Senate Session SB382 OPPOSE
- relative to telemedicine licensure
OPPOSE OTP, SUPPORT ITL (kill this bill!)
The full Senate will meet Thursday, this is one of the bills they will vote on.

When you contact your local Senator, let them know you are a CONSTITUENT (in email subject line or if you're calling them or leaving a message).

This EVIL bill would prohibit telemedicine from any practitioner not licensed in New Hampshire, which would cut-off effective Covid treatments for people who have been receiving them from out-of-state telemedicine doctors. More detailed explanation at hfnh.org/bills.

Some great strides were made last week with the House adopting so many of the bills we've been supporting. Strong work, friends! We've updated those details on the bills page and will provide more detail as they are scheduled for public Senate hearings.

We would like to clarify, regarding taking action on bills-
Registering your position on a bill using the House & Senate "sign-in" forms is ONLY for public hearings and is not enough. That one-minute form is not 'one & done bill activism'. We also need to contact Representatives and Senators, both individually and as full committees, depending on what stage we're at (we detail that on our bills page). We also need to show up for public hearings. We are following so many bills and each can be at a different step in the process.
