Someone gave a great suggestion - use inaturalist for IDing things without the negativity upfront. Usually there's also a direct link to the organism's wikipedia page as well.

I also recommend the app Merlin, if you wanna ID birds! It's made by Cornell, and cam identify birds by their calls :)

Apparently a number of free cartoon sites online were targeted and taken down. Thankfully, wcostream.tv is still standing, which is what I use.

Squirrel facts:

-Squirrels climb down trees by reversing their ankles backwards.
-Squirrel nests in homes should be removed immediately, as they tend to chew up wires.
-Squirrels were once popular pelt animals, and the hairs on their tails are still a popular material for attaching fly fishing lures.
-There have been extremely few incidents of squirrels having rabies, such that they're considered a non-threat for its spread.
-Several species of squirrels (such as the Eastern Grey Squirrel) are considered essential in forest expansion and recovery, due to how frequently they bury nuts and seeds and forget about them, spreading them to places trees otherwise might not be able to.
