Someone gave a great suggestion - use inaturalist for IDing things without the negativity upfront. Usually there's also a direct link to the organism's wikipedia page as well.

I also recommend the app Merlin, if you wanna ID birds! It's made by Cornell, and cam identify birds by their calls :)

Apparently a number of free cartoon sites online were targeted and taken down. Thankfully, wcostream.tv is still standing, which is what I use.
