Broken clock I guess
Wanna know what's a serious issue that people look at you like a crazy person for being against? Single-use plastics.
Literal worst combination of factors, environmentally. Incredibly taxing on the environment in a way that paper and cardboard simply *isn't*
The worst part? Unlike metal and glass, plastic is finitely recyclable. Plastic can typically only be re-introduced to circulation a maximum of 2 times. That's right, that bottle made of recycled plastic? If recycled again, that's it's last go.
I understand that it's weight, structural soundness and transparency has made it the staple of modern packaging it is today, but it's probably one of the most normalized ecological disasters around today. I seriously encourage you all to talk more about the downsides of them.

Please note "single-use." I'm obviously not advocating moving away from, like, plastic storage crates and reusable water bottles and all that. Some things make sense for plastic, just probably not as many things as we currently store in it.
