A Picture We Waited More Than Two Years For: Matan Zangauker and Ilana Gritzewsky, both kidnapped from southern Israel, are finally reunited. Matan was held captive by Hamas in Gaza for two years and released on October 13, 2025. Ilana was kidnapped on October 7, 2023, and released in November 2023 as part of the ceasefire hostage release deal.

At last, they can live their lives together. They are pictured together again, and we wish this couple only healing and happiness as they begin this new chapter.

Nesta semana, durante o retorno das filmagens do longa The Runner em Londres, a atriz israelense Gal Gadot precisou de escolta policial para conter manifestantes anti-Israel que tentavam interromper as gravações. Protestos anteriores já haviam forçado a paralisação da produção por várias semanas, e a polícia metropolitana interveio após os manifestantes bloquearem o acesso ao set e gritarem palavras de ordem contra a atriz e o governo israelense.

De acordo com o Daily Mail, os organizadores do protesto acusaram Gadot de “apoiar o genocídio” por sua postura pública em defesa da libertação dos reféns israelenses sequestrados pelo Hamas em 7 de outubro de 2023. Fontes da equipe relataram que a produção precisou reforçar a segurança e alterar o cronograma de gravações para proteger a atriz e os profissionais envolvidos.

A perseguição a Gadot reflete o ambiente cada vez mais hostil enfrentado por artistas israelenses no cenário internacional. Desde os ataques do Hamas, ela tem usado sua influência para pedir paz e denunciar os crimes do grupo terrorista.
