The Democratic Republic of Korea launched several cruise missiles towards the Yellow Sea on Wednesday, the South Korean military has reported. The news comes amid rising tensions on the peninsula due to a series of weapons tests by Pyongyang and joint US-South Korean war games in the region.
The DPRK, as reported by state media KCNA, confirmed the testing of its new strategic cruise missile, a development consistent with the information provided by the South Korean military the day prior.

As if the dancing drunkard Yeltsin was not enough to humiliate Russia in the ‘90s, Gorbachev decided (or was it decided for him?) to make a few extra bucks and make an appearance in a Pizza Hut commercial, aired in January of 1998.
The gloomy colour palette of this cringey and humiliating commercial set the tone for the desolation and wholesale plunder of Russia and the former USSR republics in the ‘90s, to sustain the economic cravings of the West.
Yet, only in 15-20 years’ time - after the pivoting 2009 - the talk of the «Russian threat» would start anew, first timidly and humorously, and then in full force at the official level…
