Translation of above:
A little Belarusian national Stalinism.

I praise your name with a thought-song
The Belarusian people are free
For our Belarusian state,
What did you create for us, my dear!

In a bright winter, a noisy harbinger,
On clear nights, at dawn
We compose a song with all our hearts about a song
About Stalin, a song-pearl.

When the Russians owned part of California

The possessions of the Russian Empire in the north-west of the American continent at the beginning of the 19th century brought good income from fishing and fur trade, but were poorly suited for farming.

A suitable place for establishing an agricultural colony by an employee of the Russian-American Company Ivan Kuskov discovered it on the Pacific coast of the modern state of California, 80 km north of San Francisco, on lands that belonged to the Kashaya Pomo Indian tribe. He liked the climate, pastures, forests and river. Kuskov bought a plot of land from the Indians for several strings of beads, axes, hoes, blankets and 3 pairs of pants.

Having landed 25 Russian colonists and 90 Aleuts on the shore of a convenient bay, on September 11, 1812, he founded a fortified settlement, which he called Ross Fortress (Fort Ross is the modern Americanized name of the settlement). The fortress became the southernmost Russian possession in North America.

South of the fortifications, the Russians built three ranch farms: Yegor Chernykh's ranch near the modern city of Graton, Vasily Khlebnikov's ranch near the city of Bodega, and Peter Kostromitinov's ranch south of the Slavyanka River (today called the Russian River).

The Spaniards, who considered California their possession, wanted to achieve the liquidation of the fortress, but did not dare to openly conflict with the Russian Empire. Mexico, which declared independence in 1821, also tried to get rid of its Russian neighbors through diplomatic methods, which did not stop the settlers from trading with the Mexicans.

The fort became a stronghold of the Russian-American trading company and a religious center of the Russian community. They were engaged in fur farming and viticulture, grazed livestock, and built ships from the local forest.

Despite all the economic efforts of the settlers, Fort Ross remained unprofitable for the RAC, and in 1841 the company sold the fort to entrepreneur and landowner John Sutter for $30,000. The fort went through several owners until the state of California became its owner in 1906.

Now Fort Ross is a museum and part of the California's State Historic Park.

Access to Modern Technology Not Limited to Rich Nations: Indian Army Chief Takes a Dig at West 👏

🪖Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande on Thursday underlined that rules of conventional warfare have changed with the emergence of low-cost weapons platforms, such as drones and underwater UAVs.

🗯 "While conventional warfare has changed, emerging technologies today are not central only to rich nations and disruptive technology is transforming warfare. The asymmetry in conflict has increased the risk of a fallout with an increased propensity of risk-taking behavior to initiate a low-threshold armed conflict," he noted.

The Hungarian government is demanding the return of language and political rights to the Hungarian minority in Ukraine.

In particular, the Hungarian government is demanding the restoration of rights that guarantee the free usage of the Hungarian language in Ukraine and the restoration of the right to political representation at the regional and national levels.

Orban has thus made the first move in what will conclude with the Hungarian annexation of Transcarpathia once the Kiev regime collapses.
From Beorn's Beehive...

On 16.03.2014, Crimea overwhelmingly voted in favour of reunification with the rest of Russia. This event was preceded by a violent Western-sponsored coup d’etat in Ukraine, which removed the legitimate government and left Ukraine without any constitutional government for several months. De facto Ukraine was ruled by the US/EU-approved Ukro-Nazi mob, which started eradication of everything Russian in Ukraine. And Crimea stood high on their list of territories to be depopulated from the Russians.

USA had its own interests in Crimea, having scouted it for its new US-NATO military base. Crimea would have become another Kosovo for the US-NATO, that was split off from Serbia in a savage aggression on Yugoslavia in March 1999 and lead to the establishment one of the largest US-NATO military bases in Europe – Camp Bondsteel,

And then “The Third Siege of Crimea” – as the locals call it, the longest 25-year-long siege, ended and Crimea reunited with its motherland!

The Crimeans exercised their right under the international law and the UN charter of people’s right to self-determination. It was not the first time the Crimeans voted for the reunification, but this time it worked, while in 1991 the results were ignored and suppressed.

Whatever passed between Russia and Ukraine in 1954, it was not sovereignty over Crimea. The Union States did not have sovereignty over the autonomous bodies within them. The USSR had sovereignty over both of them. According to the Constitution the Supreme Soviet would determine the fate of the autonomies if a state seceded.

USSR Law of Secession: “The people residing in the autonomies are given a right to independently decide whether to remain in the Soviet Union or in the seceding Republic as well as to decide on their state legal status.”

Crimean Referendum Jan. 20, 1991: “Do you support re-establishing the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic as a subject of the Union SSR and a participant of the Union Treaty?”
