"Limited" Israeli strike on Iran. What was it?
- At first, the American media wrote about a missile attack on a facility in Iran, as well as about explosions near the airport in Isfahan;
- Later, the Iranian media stated that all this was fake. The drones were shot down, the air defense worked 100%, not a single explosion was recorded in Iran, nor were there missile attacks;
- The air over Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz was blocked, flights were cancelled;
- Tasnim reports that Iran's nuclear facilities in Isfahan are completely safe, the Iranian Tasnim agency wrote;
- The US did not participate in the attack;
- Fox News says Israel's strike on Iran is "extremely limited";
- Iranian Space Agency spokesman Hossein Daliryan said that the downed drones had a short range and were launched from Iranian territory;
- The Israeli military told CNN it had "no comment yet" on the topic of explosions in Iran on Friday morning.

Without it, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will not work. These functions can be purchased one-time, but the price has not yet been announced by the manufacturer.

I visited the DPRK from the 11th of April to the 18th April .I was the 1st British citizen to visit the DPRK for 5 years .
I was there to participate in the celebrations of the 112th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG and in the international seminar on Independence, Justice and The Future of Humanity organised by the Korean Association of Social Scientists.
During the visit I witnessed that the situation in the DPRK is calm and stable . Despite the sanctions and the COVID 19 pandemic the DPRK is carrying out massive construction work ,it is going through another great Chollima upsurge .A new street Hwasong Street which is the size of a small city has appeared in Pyongyang.Also a new street is under construction in the Sopho district and was visible when we were going back to the Airport yesterday.
Prices in the hotel shop were the same as in 2019.Needless to say the NK News " 250 dollar banana" could not be found and my guide just laughed and said " ridiculous" when I told him the story .
As to tales of " human rights violations " , the DPRK actually has a fairly minimal police presence compared to other countries .The situation seemed quite normal .
There were no homeless people and I saw no one begging . Housing is given to people free of charge . There were no drug addicts , prostitutes , lumpens or decadent people.

Look at Pyongyang in the background. The beautiful spectre of what a city could be with actual socialist city planning.

Rally for the preservation of the USSR. 1991, 750,000 people attended.
😭1
33 years ago, on March 17, 1991, the All-Union referendum on the preservation of the USSR took place. The question was put to the referendum: “ Do you consider it necessary to preserve the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics as a renewed federation of equal sovereign republics, in which the rights and freedoms of people of any nationality will be fully guaranteed?” .
Of the 185.6 million citizens of the USSR with the right to vote, 148.5 million people took part in the referendum. Of these, 113.5 million, or 76.43%, were in favor of preserving the USSR . In accordance with Art. 29 of the USSR Law “On National Voting” of December 27, 1990 No. 1869-I, a decision made through a referendum of the USSR is final and can be canceled or changed only through a new expression of the will of the peoples of the USSR.
The will of citizens to live in a single multinational state was cynically and brazenly trampled on December 8, 1991, when in Belovezhskaya Pushcha Yeltsin, Kravchuk and Shushkevich, without any legal authority to do so, with the criminal inaction of Gorbachev, secretly signed an agreement from the people that “ The USSR as a subject of international law and as a geopolitical reality ceases to exist.”

For the 27th week, a million Yemenis gathered in support of Gaza and its resistance in Sana'a, under the slogan "Our battle is ongoing until Gaza is victorious."
The statement issued by those gathered confirmed:
"- We praise the heroic jihadi operations of the jihad and resistance movements in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq.
- We offer condolences to the fighter leader Ismail Haniyeh on the martyrdom of several of his sons and grandchildren, and we commend the cohesion and unity among the leaderships of the Palestinian factions.
- We congratulate the people and leadership of Iran on their successful and strong military response to the enemy, which has established a response equation against the zionist base of impunity.
- Our people condemn the cowardly and complicit stance of some Arab entities with the zionist entity, contributing to its military, political, and media defense.
- We call on the free people of the nation to increase their awareness to support the Palestinian people and to avoid being drawn into the deceptive policies and normalization tools of the entity.
- We bless the Yemeni armed forces for the jihadi support operations they conduct in support of the Palestinian people.
- We urge the Yemeni naval and air forces to continue targeting ships associated with the entity until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted."

Structural racism by the Dominican Republic against Haiti is deeply rooted despite the two countries sharing an island, a history of anti-colonial struggle, and both having Black-majority populations.
During the current crisis, the DR is deporting Haitians while allowing the US and others to use their country as a landing base for those being evacuated from Haiti.
We spoke to Professor Jemima Pierre of Columbia University and activist with Black Alliance for Peace about this dark history of colonial division.
