19th may was 129 years since the death of the great Cuban revolutionary, poet and philosopher José Martí, whose word, thought and personal history are the quintessence of the best that Latin America has. Neither Fidel nor the glorious epic of the Cuban Revolution would have been possible without Martí's ideas. Let us remember today some of his phrases:

🇻🇳 Comrade To Lam elected President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
The National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV), at the seventh session of the 15th National Assembly in Hanoi, elected member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Minister of Public Security, Army General To Lam, as the new president of the country.
472 out of 473 deputies of the National Assembly present at the meeting voted “for”.
The chair of the head of state remained vacant after Vo Van Thuong, who occupied it , resigned in March from the posts of President of Vietnam, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, member of the Politburo of the CPV Central Committee and member of the 13th CPV Central Committee.
To Lam was born on July 10, 1957 in Hung Yen Province of Northern Vietnam (in 1976, North and South Vietnam were united to form the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). In 1974-1979 he studied at the Academy of People's Security.
Since 1981 - member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, graduated from courses at the National Political Academy. Ho Chi Minh.
Since 1979, he has worked in various positions in divisions and departments of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam. In 2010-2016 he was deputy head of this ministry, and in 2016 he headed it.
In 2011 he became a member of the Central Committee of the CPV. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPV (the highest governing body during the period between meetings of the Central Committee). Since the same year he has been a member of the National Assembly.
In 2016-2017, he was the head of the CPV steering committee on the Taing Guen Central Plateau. He is the deputy head of the Central Steering Committee for the Fight against Corruption of the CPV.
On May 18, 2024, the CPV Central Committee recommended the election of To Lam as president of the country.

After 46 hours, the IOF has completely withdrawn from #Jenin camp after facing fierce resistance, unable to achieve their goals. 11 martyrs ascended during the heroic battle, noscriptd "The Walls of Death" by the Jenin Brigade.
Determined fighters planted locally-made explosives on vehicles in the camp, while fighters rushed from Tulkarem, from Kafr Dan and Jaba', in order to support their fighting brothers in Jenin with ambushes of death. Explosive after explosive targeted IOF vehicles in all parts of Jenin governorate, while the bullets of the resistance sang overhead.
The resistance defended the steadfast camp with all might, stunning journalists and soldiers alike. A zionist soldier was quoted as saying: "We did not find a significant difference between what we faced in Gaza and what we are currently facing in Jenin."
A reporter on scene stated: "The fighters are getting closer and closer to the vehicles while carrying explosive devices, despite the skies covered with drones and dozens of military vehicles on the ground. We don't see IOF soldiers...They don't leave their vehicles out of fear of the Palestinian fighters."
Glory to Jenin, the wasp's nest, which proves again that the camp is forbidden to invaders.

Today marks the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) in 1920 – at one point the largest communist party outside of China and the USSR.
The PKI was brutally wiped out during the US-led Cold War anti-communist frenzy. Top-secret CIA reports described the killings as among the worst mass murders of the 20th century.
Following political unrest and a failed coup in 1965, communism was banned in Indonesia as a political movement and ideology. The ban on the PKI remains in place to this day.
The aftermath of the coup led to brutal purges and mass killings from 1965 to 1966, resulting in a death toll ranging from 500,000 to nearly two million.
Despite evidence from declassified documents that Western intelligence agencies were aware of and supported the massacres, the CIA has denied their involvement. History textbooks in Indonesia often omit or downplay the killings.

We send our deep condolences to the heroic Iranian people on the occasion of the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, who had so recently proved his mettle by standing firm in the face of Israeli attacks and the Anglo-American imperialists’ drive to war.
We are confident that the axis of resistance will continue unbowed.
The death of President Raisi means that the “Chinese people have lost a great friend”, President Xi has said.
Xi added: “President Raisi has made important contributions to maintaining Iran’s security and stability, promoting national development and prosperity, and also made active efforts to consolidate and develop the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership.”
Normally, in cases of police investigation, one looks for people with means, motive and opportunity. It is not hard to see where such lines of investigation would point – though we have no means of conducting these inquiries. At present.
The triumphalism of the west may just be opportunistic schadenfreude. But, as in all things, the truth will out eventually.
Long live the heroic Axis of Resistance!
Long live the just and heroic struggle of the Palestinian people, the peoples of west Asia, and the masses of the world to free themselves from the stranglehold of the finance capitalists!
