To the Marxist it is indisputable that a revolution is impossible without a revolutionary situation; furthermore, it is not every revolutionary situation that leads to revolution. What, generally speaking, are the symptoms of a revolutionary situation? We shall certainly not be mistaken if we indicate the following three major symptoms: (1) when it is impossible for the ruling classes to maintain their rule without any change; when there is a crisis, in one form or another, among the “upper classes”, a crisis in the policy of the ruling class, leading to a fissure through which the discontent and indignation of the oppressed classes burst forth. For a revolution to take place, it is usually insufficient for “the lower classes not to want” to live in the old way; it is also necessary that “the upper classes should be unable” to live in the old way; (2) when the suffering and want of the oppressed classes have grown more acute than usual; (3) when, as a consequence of the above causes, there is a considerable increase in the activity of the masses, who uncomplainingly allow themselves to be robbed in “peace time”, but, in turbulent times, are drawn both by all the circumstances of the crisis and by the “upper classes” themselves into independent historical action.

Josef Stalin, great pupil of Lenin, leader of Soviet socialist construction, leader of the WW2 defeat of fascism, is being steadily rediscovered by the masses, who are once again struggling to free themselves from the grip of crisis-ridden monopoly capital.
The bourgeoisie have spent the decades since Stalin's death maligning the reputation of this great revolutionary leader, who was universally admired by the working and oppressed peoples during is lifetime. They have worked overtime and thrown vast resources into their campaign to instil fear into our minds at the very mention of his name.
But in the end, the truth will out.
The more we wake up to the fact that we are lied to about almost everything important, the more we begin to question also the myths that have been propagated against JV Stalin.
Once we realise that our interests are diametrically opposed to those of the ruling class, then we start to question WHY they should loathe and despise certain figures and ideas – and why they want us to loathe and despise them too.
It's very encouraging to see this quote from Stalin inscribed on a big banner and hanging in the conference hall in Caracas, where the global antifascism congress is now taking place.
The past has many important lessons to teach us as we prepare for the coming battles. And Marxist science as practised by its most faithful adherents, remains as true today as it was a century ago.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro calls out the EU claiming to be concerned with Venezuela while they ignore the genocide in Gaza.
The comments were made in a meeting with the military police high command who have led the efforts against right-wing protesters attempting to overturn the results of the presidential elections.
Last week saw intense violence from opposition supporters calling for a coup. Hospitals, food storage centers, and public buildings were torched and vandalized. In response, Maduro confirmed that more than 2,000 involved in the riots have been arrested since last Monday and that the “fascist outbreak” has been controlled.

Watch communist revolutionary Fidel Castro tell a crowd in Harlem, New York in 1995 about the tens of millions of people who have been cared for by Cuban doctors. Castro also goes on to mention the hundreds of thousands of lives saved by doctors from the socialist island as well as the Cuban teachers and professors performing international solidarity work and training.
Castro received a rapturous reception in the predominantly Black area not only because of his strong anti-racist and anti-imperialist credentials but also the success of the Cuban Revolution. Following a speech at the United Nations General Assembly Castro wasn't welcome at a reception held by then US President Bill Clinton at the New York Public Library.
Instead, he returned to Harlem, an area he had previously visited in 1960 when he visited the UN for the first time as Cuban leader. Back then he was invited to stay at the Theresa Hotel by Malcolm X leading to a historic meeting between the two anti-racist leaders.

On Revolutionary Morality
The revolution has three enemies. Capitalism and imperialism are very dangerous. Backward customs and traditions are the second enemy, because they put hidden obstacles in the way of the revolution. You cannot neglect them. They must be painstakingly eliminated, but it takes time.
The third enemy is individualism, petty-bourgeois ideology that still persists in every one of us. It is waiting for a chance to raise its head. It is an ally of the two above-mentioned enemies.
Therefore, revolutionary morality implies the need to resolutely fight against all enemies, constantly maintain vigilance, be ready for action, never to yield to the enemy or kowtow to them. This is the only way you can beat the enemy and live up to your revolutionary duty.

Kim Il Sung issued an order to all units and entire commanding officers and soldiers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army to launch a general offensive for national liberation on August 9, Juche 34(1945).
The units of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army broke through the enemy's strongholds along the border all at once and constantly expanded successes in the battles, and destroyed the aggressive armed forces and the foundation of the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists by a close joint operation with the small units and groups dispatched to the homeland.
Having suffered a decisive blow by the fierce attack of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and the all-people resistance, the Japanese imperialists finally surrendered at discretion on August 15, Juche 34(1945).
Indeed, Kim Il Sung was a peerless patriot and hero of the nation who liberated Korea by leading the 20-year-long bloody anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory.

Sharon Graham is now pretending to be surprised that the labour party is as reactionary in office as it promised to be before it was in office. The con artistry of the union leaders must be exposed and rejected. It was obvious to all who cared to see it that Starmer was going to be this bad but the union leaders lied to their members and pretended otherwise.

From indiscriminate bombing of supposedly ‘safe’ refugee zones in Gaza to indiscriminate detonating of booby-trapped devices in Lebanon, the zionists continue to commit atrocities and continue to proclaim their intention of wiping out all opposition to their genocidal project (even if this means wiping out every Palestinian in Palestine).
But no amount of bluster can hide the fact that they are losing on every front, and will continue to do so, even if they are able to mobilise full and direct military support from their imperialist backers.
