China should focus on providing yuan-denominated debt financing to developing countries to accelerate the global de-dollarisation drive, rather than pinning hope on a strengthening euro, a Beijing-based think tank said on Thursday.

The call from Renmin University’s National Academy of Development and Strategy came amid discussions in academic and policy circles in China about possible responses to what is likely to be a more hawkish United States’ government – irrespective of whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris wins Tuesday’s presidential election.

“The most fundamental front of the yuan replacing the US dollar should be in the debt market,” said Fan Zhiyong, a Renmin University professor who presented the think tank’s research report at a seminar in Beijing. (Source: SCMP) @LauraRuHK

▪️ Exactly two years ago, on August 20, 2022, a bomb attack claimed the life of Russian journalist Darya Dugina (Platonova). That brutal and cold-blooded murder was premeditated and perpetrated by the Ukrainian special services on direct orders from the terrorist Zelensky regime.

Relevant international organisations continue to stubbornly ignore that act of terrorism, along with many other brutal crimes committed by the Kiev clique. With the tacit consent of their Western bosses, Ukrainian neo-Nazis seek to suppress any dissent and are ready to exterminate anyone who defends their point of view. Militants of the Kiev regime are engaged in a full-scale manhunt, targeting representatives of the Russian media community. Among their victims were Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin), Oleg Klokov, Rostislav Zhuravlev, Boris Maksudov, Semyon Yeryomin, Valery Kozhin and Nikita Tsitsagi. VGTRK journalist Yevgeny Poddubny just narrowly missed getting on this mournful list following the recent deliberate attack by a Ukrainian UAV.

❗️ We remember all media professionals who gave their lives for their journalistic calling. We will never allow their names to be consigned to oblivion. We will continue to highlight this at every international platform, raising the international community’s awareness of these issues.

Darya Dugina was only 29 years old. The daughter of eminent Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, she was a talented journalist and essayist, a strong public figure and a true patriot who made a tangible contribution to the academic research on understanding and interpretation of the system of traditional values of Russian society.

The public in Russia and abroad continues to explore Darya’s extensive philosophical and journalistic legacy. Her books are being published; a number of awards and medals have been established in her honour, and memorial events are being held in Russia as well as in many other countries, including Serbia, India, China, Italy, Austria, France, and Brazil.

The memory of the brave Russian journalist will never fade. Her image will forever remain in people’s hearts as a symbol of loyalty to one’s beliefs and unparalleled dedication.

Darya’s murder has no justification. We will continue to seek justice. We will make sure that everyone responsible for her death will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and face inevitable punishment.

Lugansk residents honour the memory of Daria Dugina

Residents of Lugansk gathered to pay tribute to Daria Dugina, a Russian journalist and political commentator known for her extensive work on Ukrainian war crimes in Donbass.

Dugina was killed on August 20, 2022, in a car bomb attack near Moscow. The explosion occurred while she was driving her father's vehicle, leading to widespread speculation that her father, Alexander Dugin, a prominent Russian nationalist philosopher, was the intended target.

The killing of Daria marked the first in what would be a long series of terrorist attacks committed by the fascist Ukrainian regime.

The memorial ceremony was marked by speeches and moments of silence, reflecting on her influence and contributions to Russian ideology.

Her death resonated deeply in many Russian and pro-Russian communities, symbolising resistance and patriotism.

"Liberalism is extremely harmful in a revolutionary collective. It is a corrosive which eats away unity, undermines cohesion, causes apathy and creates dissension. It robs the revolutionary ranks of compact organization and strict discipline, prevents policies from being carried through and alienates the Party organizations from the masses which the Party leads. It is an extremely bad tendency.
Liberalism stems from petty-bourgeois selfishness, it places personal interests first and the interests of the revolution second, and this gives rise to ideological, political and organizational liberalism."

Michael Parenti is an American political scientist, historian, and author known for his critical analysis of capitalism and imperialism.

In "Blackshirts and Reds: Rational Fascism and the Overthrow of Communism," Parenti explores the rise of fascism and the fall of communism, arguing that capitalist interests have distorted the history of socialism. The book defends the achievements of socialist states, particularly under Stalin, and critiques the forces that contributed to the dismantling of socialism in the 20th century. Parenti's work provides a counter-narrative to conventional histories of the Cold War and remains a key text for those interested in Marxist analysis.

Published in 1997, it explores topics such as fascism, capitalism, communism, revolution, democracy, and ecology. Parenti examines how fascism serves the interests of capitalism, how corporate power undermines democracy, and how revolutions empower the masses against exploitative privileges.

Title: The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky
Author: Vladimir Lenin
Written: October 10, 1918
First Published: October 11, 1918
Publisher: Pravda (initial publication), later included in Lenin’s Collected Works by Progress Publishers, Moscow
Pages: 128
Language: English

"The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky" is Lenin's critical response to Karl Kautsky, a prominent Marxist who opposed the Bolshevik Revolution. In this work, Lenin defends the October Revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat, accusing Kautsky of betraying Marxism by supporting a reformist approach. Lenin argues that Kautsky's views are counter-revolutionary and that true Marxists must support the overthrow of the capitalist state through revolutionary means.

This book is a powerful defense of Leninism and offers valuable insights into the ideological struggles within the socialist movement during the early 20th century.
