Harasta, Damascus | Alawite Shop Owner Abducted at Gunpoint

Issam Youssef Khaddour, a local shop owner, was abducted late Sunday night, June 15, around 11:00 PM, outside his home in the Harasta suburb of Damascus. The abduction occurred shortly after he closed his small garden-side shop.

Despite his son's intervention and Armed men threatened them at gunpoint before forcibly taking the father.

Since the abduction, Khaddour’s family has received no information on his whereabouts as fears for his safety grow.
