At the Arab League summit yesterday the following measures were proposed.

1) Termination of all relations with Israel
2) Withdraw permission for the US to use its bases in the region to supply Israel
3) To threaten an oil embargo
4) Suspend permission for Israeli civil aviation to use Arab countries airspace
5) Call for an immediate ceasefire

Four countries voted agaisnt these measures - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Morocco and the UAE.

What the PFLP. observed in 1969 is true to this day. The Arab reactionaries are a bulwark of US imperialism. They may condemn Israel but they will refuse to take any meaningful action because their interests are bound up with US imperialism.
