Friday in the First

Deanna Gardner, a resident of Oxford, is the founder and leader of Mother Love, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity and homelessness in her community. With 15 years of experience in community outreach, Deanna's efforts have provided essential meals, resources, and employment opportunities to those in need.

Her nonprofit operates "Blessing Boxes" to ensure daily access to food, distributes care packages to the homeless, and organizes events such as Halloween costume giveaways, a Christmas drive, and a prom drive that offers donated dresses and tuxedos.

Deanna's commitment has fostered a strong sense of community involvement, motivating others to assist those in need. Named after her husband’s mother, the organization’s name, Mother Love, represents a profound commitment to serving and supporting the community. Through Mother Love, Deanna continues to make a meaningful impact.

The brutal murder of Oded Lifshitz and the innocent brothers, 10-month-old Kfir Bibas and 4-year-old Ariel Bibas, by Hamas terrorists while they were in captivity is utterly horrifying. Shiri Bibas, the mother of Kfir and Ariel, is still missing, and we demand her return along with all other hostages.
