The press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) has published a monthly report on the war in Kurdistan. According to the report, 56 soldiers lost their lives in the previous month, most of them in the course of the Turkish invasion in southern Kurdistan, including three high-ranking military officers. A further 43 members of the occupying forces were injured. The Turkish army is trying to conceal its heavy losses & the state-controlled media is not reporting on them, the HPG emphasized. However, many of the effective guerrilla actions were recorded. Four female guerrilla fighters, Berwar Dersim, Eylem Stêrk, Sozdar Evîn & Armanc Devrim, were martyred in the resistance.

Explainer: General Amnesty Law
The Rojava Information Center published an explainer and translation of the new General Amnesty law which will lead to hundreds of prisoner releases from prisons in North and East Syria.
RIC conducted interviews to clarify the background, criteria and content of the amnesty law. RIC spoke with Atiya Youssef, a member of the Prosecution Administration Committee of the Social Justice Council of NES, Ali Rahmoun, deputy co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), and Farid Ati, co-chair of the Democratic Peoples’ Council of the DAANES.

Comrades from all parts of the world are taking part in the resistance against the Turkish army and defending humanity against the forces of NATO and, its lapdog, the Turkish state. With their new tactics of refined tunnel warfare, mobile guerrilla units – or “ghost guerillas” as commander Murat Karayilan called them – and the use of drones by the guerrilla air defense units, the guerilla have destroyed the plans of the Turkish state.
As one comrade who fought in the mountains told us:
“Any form of action carried out in other parts of the world is a great source of morale for our friends at the front. Even a simple protest march, has a motivating effect.”
In autumn and winter, our friends in the mountains will take advantage of the favorable weather conditions and put pressure on the occupiers with revolutionary operations. In anticipation of this we will make a small but meaningful contribution:
Let's show our comrades on the front lines in the struggle against the state, power and violence that, wherever we are, we are advancing the revolution and standing shoulder to shoulder with the guerrillas for a better world!

Guerrilla resistance and attacks in the Mountains continue
According to HPG's (People's Defence Forces) latest Press Release guerrilla forces launched targeted strikes against the Turkish occupation in the Western Zap and Xakurkê regions from September 11-14. Utilizing heavy weapons and sabotage tactics, the guerrilal fighters successfully neutralized two occupiers and injured another.
Meanwhile the Turkish occupying force has been bombing the resistance tunnels in Girê FM and Girê Amediyê. Between September 12-14, over 30 airstrikes from warplanes and attack helicopters hit resistance areas across Xakurkê, Garê, Metîna, and Zap regions. Despite the Turkish state's continued aggression, the resistance remains resolute in defending the land and its people.
Resistance will prevail!

Yesterday the Turkish army attacked Mount Metîna, close to Guherzê village of Amêdiyê. Villagers who witnessed the bombing stated that the Turkish state used chemical weapons in the attack.

📌 Restrictions on Kurdish language and culture in Turkey have intensified, with at least 22 incidents reported in the past seven months, according to a report by Zeynep Durgut from Mezopotamya Agency. The bans range from the erasure of Kurdish signs to the cancellation of concerts and educational programmes.
📌 The crackdown extends to prisons, where Kurdish-speaking inmates face restrictions. Prisoners at Şırnak (Şirnex) T-type prison reported that Kurdish was banned during phone calls, and in other cases, Kurdish books and music were confiscated. In August, 31 prisoners in Şakran Women’s Prison received disciplinary sanctions for singing Kurdish songs.

5 years of invasion in Rojava
Five years ago today, the Turkish army invaded the self-governing territories in northern and eastern Syria.
After weeks of threats and a green light from the USA, Turkish troops crossed the border on October 9th and began shelling the border towns.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) put up fierce resistance for almost two weeks until a ceasefire agreement was reached on October 17. By this time, the offensive had already killed hundreds of people and displaced almost 400,000.
In response to the attacks, tens of thousands demonstrated against the advance and in support of the self-administration.
To this day, the areas between the towns of Gire Spî and Serê Kaniyê are occupied by Turkey and allied Islamist militias in violation of international law. There have been no consequences for Turkey to date.

Xelil Osman Hem, nicknamed Apê Nemir, known as a symbol of the Kobanê resistance, joined the caravans of the immortals today due to a heart attack.
The struggle for Kobanê is a symbol of the Rojava revolution. Apê (uncle) Nemir had a very special place in this struggle. After the attack on the northern Syrian city, Apê Nemir resisted the gangs of the so-called Islamic State (IS) together with the fighters of the YPG and YPJ.
Only thanks to the YPG/YPJ and fighters like Apê Nemir was it possible to defeat IS, which poses a threat to the whole world, in Kobanê.
