On Friday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) killed five militants of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) and injured 18 others in an infiltration attempt by the latter to the countryside of the city of Manbij in northern Syria that is run by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

☠️ The killed and injured were hospitalized to Jarablus, a city under the Turkish occupation in Aleppo eastern countryside. The HTS militants were killed and injured after clashes with the SDF fighters in the village of Arab Hassan, west of Manbij.

🔸On Thursday, the SDF announced repelling attacks by the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), in Manbij.

In the recent days, the SNA factions and the HTS supported by Turkey have intensified attacks on Manbij region, but the SDF announced repelling all the attacks. The attacks leave casualties among the attackers.

Update: KDP's traitor course continues to escalate

In Southern Kurdistan, the situation between KDP troops and guerrillas continues to escalate.

After columns of military vehicles loaded with military equipment and KDP combat units were spotted heading toward guerrilla positions last night, attacks on guerrilla positions occurred during the night.

Attacks on guerrilla positions were reported at 4:30 a.m. this morning in Gewriya Zînê, in the Gosîn area. Following the attacks by KDP forces, further fighting broke out in the region. Tensions in the region continue.

The Kurdish KDP, led by the Barzani family, which rules the southern Kurdish autonomous region, relies on the support of imperialist Western powers and betrays its own population in the process. Recently, the cooperation between the KDP and the Turkish fascist AKP-MHP coalition has deepened and hostilities against the Kurdish freedom movement have intensified.

Solidarity is not a crime!
8.12.2020: nine activists arrested in France accused of “criminal association of terrorist criminals” without any evidence.

Most of these activists do not even know each other, but they are linked by one person: an activist known as Libre Flot, who took shortly part in the fight against ISIS in Rojava in 2018. Many internationalist volunteers who have been to Rojava have been subjected to massive repression after their return to Europe.

In October this year, the trials of these defendants will take place in Paris, and because of this an international week of solidarity in support of the defendants is held from 16-23 of September. Riseup4Rojava Finland demands the French state to stop criminalizing international solidarity.
These activists are not terrorists - bloodthirsty dictators like Erdogan are terrorists!

French embassy in Switzerland:
SUPPORT FOR THE ACCUSED OF 8.12. -
FRENCH STATE IS TERRORIST

The « 8th of December 2020 affair » is an anti-terrorist operation led by the French interior ministry against activists they have dubbed « ultra-left activists » and indicted for « terrorist criminal association ».

The general direction for home security (DGSI) in France arrested nine people – whom we group together as « anti-authoritarian » – whose political commitments were diverse and in different regions.

These nine people don’t all know each other. Some had only met once in their lives (during lockdown). But they all had one person in common, targeted by the DGSI since his return from Rojava in 2018, where he had taken part in the fight against Daesh/ISIS.

⚡️Turkish airstrikes on north-eastern Syria increase in intensity

After it was reported at 23:25 local time that a large number of Turkish fighter jets had taken off from the military airport in Amed (Diyarbakir), the entire borderline is currently being subjected to fierce air attacks. Aerial bomb impacts are reported from Derik, Girkelege, Tirbespi (in the video) and Shehba.

Heavy attacks are also reported from Qamislo city centre and the oil producing areas. The bombardment continues at the moment. The Turkish Ministry of Defence openly declared that the new wave of attacks is directed against oil wells and civilian infrastructure of the "separatist terrorist organisation" and makes no effort to conceal its own war crimes.

Air strikes on substations are reported to have just completely collapsed the power supply to Derik, Cilaxa, Girkelege and Rimelan.

Numerous civilian casualties are currently being reported.
