⚡️Update: Turkey attacks civilian infrastructure in northeastern Syria.
Rojava Information Center counts 17 points attacked, including 5 oil production facilities, power supply to the cities of Heseke, Qamişlo and Amude, cars and motorcycles were bombed in various cities, as well as workshops and smaller industrial facilities. At least 10 civilian:inside dead. In Waşokani camp, which houses displaced people from Serê Kaniyê, 12 NGOs stopped working after Turkey bombed the camp three times. Many cities reportedly without electricity.
In Şehba and Til Temir, 2 Turkish army drones were shot down. The latter probably because it came too close to a base of the International Anti-IS Coalition.
In Homs, a drone attack on a military ceremony occurred at the same time, killing at least 70 people and injuring 200, including the Syrian Defense Minister. It is still unclear who was behind the attack.
In Qamişlo, the first demonstrations against the attacks took place in the afternoon.

⚡️Turkish airstrikes on north-eastern Syria increase in intensity
After it was reported at 23:25 local time that a large number of Turkish fighter jets had taken off from the military airport in Amed (Diyarbakir), the entire borderline is currently being subjected to fierce air attacks. Aerial bomb impacts are reported from Derik, Girkelege, Tirbespi (in the video) and Shehba.
Heavy attacks are also reported from Qamislo city centre and the oil producing areas. The bombardment continues at the moment. The Turkish Ministry of Defence openly declared that the new wave of attacks is directed against oil wells and civilian infrastructure of the "separatist terrorist organisation" and makes no effort to conceal its own war crimes.
Air strikes on substations are reported to have just completely collapsed the power supply to Derik, Cilaxa, Girkelege and Rimelan.
Numerous civilian casualties are currently being reported.

Attacks against Northeastern Syria continue
The Turkish army's attacks on the self-ruled areas do not stop for the second day in a row.
During the night, the Turkish state carried out widespread air strikes in the Cizire region. For yesterday, ANHA-News reported bombings of 29 villages and towns, 5 substations, 7 oil production facilities, 2 drinking water stations, a gas production plant, and the Cil Axa dam. To date, 12 deaths have been confirmed. This list is still not complete.
In the village of Gire Vira near Derik, the Corona Hospital was completely destroyed by air strikes. The gas extraction plant near Swediye, which fills gas cylinders for the population, was destroyed again at 11 a.m. this morning after being rebuilt following attacks last year. Drone movement is again reported, and more attacks are expected.
Despite the obvious war crimes, no reaction has been heard from the international community so far.

STAND IN SOLIDARITY – RISE UP AGAINST TURKISH WARCRIMES
Starting from Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Turkish Army initiated intense airstrikes in northern and eastern Syria. As in November 2022, infrastructure and civilians were particularly targeted. In recent months, there have been almost daily attacks by drones with dozens of victims. The Turkish foreign minister has now declared the entire infrastructure in Rojava a "legitimate" target.Further intensification of the attacks can be expected.
The revolution in Rojava is inspiring people around the world. Democratic Confederalism based on Women's Liberation, Ecology and Radical Democracy shows concrete solutions to the social problems of our time. In Rojava, these ideas are being brought to life and defended. The strong self-organization of the population has made the resistance against the so-called Islamic State possible and is unbroken despite continuous attacks by Turkey.

Evaluation on the attacks on October 5th
Turkey has launched probably the most widespread bombing campaign North-Eastern Syria has faced so far. Since October 5th, Turkey has conducted more than 30 airstrikes, primarily in the Cizîre region and Kobanê. These airstrikes have targeted vehicles, villages, and especially critical civilian infrastructure, including oil- and power plants & gas stationsresulting in civilian casualties and casualties among internal security forces. Large areas experienced a total power blackout with many hospitals, bread-factories and other critical public-institutions completely without electricity.
Despite the obvious war crimes, no reaction has been heard from the international community so far.
Understanding these attacks requires a look on the wider aim of Turkish Fascism Actions in the region.
