The Internationalist Commune published two new chapters in its story of the Rojava Revolution, years 4 and 5 (2016 and 2017).

It was in 2017 that the Commune was founded. The internationalists write: "In early 2017, the creation of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava begins. Self-organized collective, it aims to be a place of learning and revolutionary exchanges. On 12/06/2017 it opens the 1st Internationalist Academy in the name of the martyr Helin Qereçox (Anna Campbell)."

Another civilian kidnapped in occupied Afrin
