The Internationalist Commune published two new chapters in its story of the Rojava Revolution, years 4 and 5 (2016 and 2017).

It was in 2017 that the Commune was founded. The internationalists write: "In early 2017, the creation of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava begins. Self-organized collective, it aims to be a place of learning and revolutionary exchanges. On 12/06/2017 it opens the 1st Internationalist Academy in the name of the martyr Helin Qereçox (Anna Campbell)."

Another civilian kidnapped in occupied Afrin

The invading Turkish army and its mercenaries continue to spread terror in the territories they have invaded in North and East Syria.

The so-called “plain-clothes police” mercenaries established by the Turkish state have kidnapped a 27-year-old man from the village of Qujum in Jindires ditrcit.

The aftermath of the kidnapped civilian, named Eli Ehmed Reşo, is not known.

HPG said in a statement today that the Turkish army bombed guerrilla areas with chemical weapons 7 times yesterday.
