18-21 июня в Санкт-Петербурге состоится XXVIII Петербургский международный экономический форум (#ПМЭФ2025).
ПМЭФ имеет репутацию авторитетной международной площадки для диалога представителей бизнеса, государственных структур, научного сообщества и экспертных кругов, посвящённого вопросам мировой экономики, устойчивого развития, технологических трансформаций.
Ожидается участие глав государств, руководства международных организаций, представителей ведущих корпораций и, конечно, гражданского общества и СМИ.
Центральной темой форума станет поиск общих ориентиров и формирование устойчивого развития в условиях глобальной турбулентности.
🗓 В рамках деловой программы запланировано более 150 мероприятий, охватывающих такие направления, как:
• цифровая экономика,
• экологическая устойчивость,
• здравоохранение,
• международное сотрудничество,
• технологические инновации,
• региональное развитие.
🌐 Сохраняется устойчивый интерес к Форуму со стороны международного сообщества:
• в 2023 году в нём приняли участие более 17 тысяч человек из 130 стран,
• в 2024 году — практически 22 тысячи участников из 139 стран мира.
По итогам последнего форума было подписано 1073 соглашения на общую сумму порядка 6,5 триллиона рублей, что свидетельствует о высоком уровне доверия и деловой активности.
Форум проводится под патронажем Президента Российской Федерации с 2006 года. Организатором выступает Фонд «Росконгресс» при поддержке профильных министерств и ведомств, в том числе МИД и Минэкономразвития России.
Петербургский форум остаётся важнейшим инструментом конструктивного международного взаимодействия, направленного на развитие многополярного мира, усиление экономической стабильности и поиск сбалансированных решений в условиях современных вызовов.

⚡️ Russian Foreign Ministry Statement in connection with the escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict
The current escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict poses risks of further destabilisation across the region, particularly in the states neighbouring Israel and Iran.
The firm and unwavering response of the global majority to Israeli strikes on Iranian territory, including its nuclear energy infrastructure, alongside the outcomes of the UN Security Council’s emergency session on June 13 and the special session of the IAEA Board of Governors on June 16, underscores that the confrontational approach and destructive actions of the Israeli leadership receive understanding and support solely from those states which are de facto accomplices, motivated by opportunistic interests.
It was precisely these “sympathisers” who exerted pressure on the leadership of the Agency to prepare a controversial “comprehensive assessment” of Iran’s nuclear programme, the flaws of which were subsequently exploited to push through a biased anti-Iran resolution at the IAEA Board of Governors on June 12. This resolution effectively provided a green light to actions by West Jerusalem, leading to tragedy. Clearly, the attempts of the Western camp to manipulate the global nuclear non-proliferation regime in order to settle political scores with disfavoured nations come at a high cost to the international community and are entirely unacceptable.
Israel’s continued, intensive attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran are unlawful under international law, pose unacceptable threats to international security, and drive the world closer to a nuclear catastrophe – the consequences of which will be felt globally, including in Israel itself.
Russia calls on the Israeli leadership to reconsider its actions and immediately cease its raids on nuclear installations and sites under IAEA safeguards and subject to IAEA verification.
The Russian side expects the leadership of the Agency to promptly prepare a detailed written report for consideration by the IAEA Board of Governors and the UN Security Council. This report must provide objective and unvarnished assessments of the damage caused by Israeli military actions to the safety of Iran’s nuclear energy complex, as well as to the application of IAEA safeguards in Iran – including the intimidation of inspectors on the ground, whose lives have been placed in grave danger.
❗️ Russia acknowledges Iran’s clear statements reaffirming its unwavering commitment to obligations under the NPT and its readiness to resume contacts with the United States to explore potential solutions that would dispel any unfounded suspicions and prejudices regarding Tehran’s nuclear programme – provided Israeli attacks cease. Moscow supports this stance and firmly maintains that a sustainable resolution can only be reliably achieved through diplomacy and negotiations.
The objectives of nuclear non-proliferation, the cornerstone of which remains the NPT, must not be pursued through aggression or at the cost of innocent lives.

It is dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
🎥 The website presents a unique documentary chronicle of the Second World War, rare digitized film and photo materials from the collection of the Gosfilmofond of Russia. The main feature of this project is the interactive historical map of the events of the Great Patriotic War integrated into it. Video and photo materials are published in relation to the places where they were filmed, and synchronized with the timeline. Users can select a point on the historical map and the period of wartime that interests them and familiarize themselves with the course of events and materials, immerse themselves in the historical context.

Key statements:
• It is evident that the current crisis in relations between Russia and Western Europe effectively began in 2014. However, the issue is not that Russia, as it were, incorporated Crimea, but rather that Western countries facilitated a coup d’état in Ukraine.
• Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, our Western partners have always acted from a position of strength, at the very least. Because the post-World War II international order was based on a balance of forces among the victors. But then one of the victors ceased to exist – the Soviet Union disintegrated. And that was it – the West began rewriting all these rules to suit themselves.
• We do not view NATO’s rearmament as a threat to the Russian Federation. Our security is fully self-reliant, and we are continuously enhancing both our Armed Forces and our overall defence capabilities. Whatever actions NATO takes inevitably pose certain risks, but we will effectively counter any threats that may emerge; there is no doubt about that.
• For centuries, the notion of a threat from Russia has periodically resurfaced in the West. Western elites have long found it convenient to invoke this perceived threat as a tool for shaping domestic policy. By pointing to an imagined danger from the East, they could justify extracting more funds from taxpayers and deflect blame for their own economic mistakes.
• This myth that Russia plans to attack Europe or NATO countries is an absurd fabrication that Western European societies are being told to believe. We understand how ridiculous this is. And those spreading this lie do not actually believe it themselves. Do you? Does anyone here genuinely believe that Russia is preparing to attack NATO? What nonsense.
• Everyone understands it is absurd. But people are being misled to justify inflated defence budgets – 3.5 percent, 5 percent of GDP – and to distract from failures in the economy and social sphere. 💬 Despite a challenging international landscape, Russia’s GDP has been demonstrating an annual growth rate of over four percent over the past two years, which is above the global average.
• Commodities no longer play a defining role in Russia’s economic growth patterns. In 2023, Russia’s non-oil-and-gas GDP increased by 7.2 percent, followed by an additional 4.9 percent in 2024. These are solid figures exceeding the overall GDP growth rates.

• Russia’s economy must become more technologically advanced. We must fully unleash a new phase of the country’s technological development. The key instrument in this regard should be the national projects aimed at securing technological leadership.

• The so-called G7’s share in the global economy has shrunk in recent years. It continues to shrink year after year. And look how the share of BRICS countries is growing. This is an objective process, independent of any clashes or acute armed conflicts worldwide. This process has continued for decades.
• The new world order is emerging naturally, like sunrise. It is inevitable, there is no escaping it. Our role is to help shape its contours, perhaps clearing the way for this process to become more balanced and aligned with the interests of the overwhelming majority of countries.

◼️ 22 июня в нашей стране отмечается #ДеньПамятиИСкорби. Это самая трагическая дата в современной истории нашего народа.
Именно в этот день — 22 июня 1941 года — на Советский Союз обрушилась вся мощь военной машины нацистской Германии и её европейских сателлитов, вероломно, без объявления войны вторгшихся в СССР. Для нашего народа началась Великая Отечественная война — самая кровопролитная в истории страны, длившаяся 1418 дней и унёсшая около 27 миллионов жизней советских граждан.
Одержимые идеями расового превосходства гитлеровцы и их союзники в Европе планировали стереть с лица Земли целые народы, а уцелевших — превратить в рабов Третьего рейха. Немецкие оккупанты вторглись в нашу страну с одной целью — физически истребить советский народ, уничтожить его многовековое культурное и духовное наследие. Они осуществляли целенаправленный геноцид.

На рассвете 22 июня вражеская авиация нанесла массированные удары по аэродромам, железнодорожным станциям, советским военно-морским базам, местам дислокации войск и городам вдоль всей западной государственной границы СССР и на глубину до 250-300 км. Вместе с нацистской Германией в агрессии приняли участие Румыния, Италия, Финляндия и др. союзные Третьему рейху государства. На агрессоров работала промышленность почти всей континентальной Европы.
О нападении Германии и начале войны жителям нашей страны было объявлено по радио. В полдень 22 июня 1941 года народный комиссар иностранных дел В.М.Молотов по поручению руководства страны выступил с обращением к советским гражданам:
Именно СССР принял на себя главный удар немецко-фашистских захватчиков. Именно советский Народ-Победитель проявил беспримерный героизм и стойкость, сражаясь до последней капли крови за свободу нашей Родины, сокрушил нацизм и спас Европу от коричневой чумы. Именно на Восточном фронте европейского театра боевых действий, в ходе боёв с Красной армией гитлеровцы и их приспешники лишились более 75% своих сил и средств за весь период Второй мировой войны.
🌟 Великая Победа досталась большой ценой. Потери Советского Союза составили до 40% всех людских потерь в годы войны — почти 27 миллионов человек. Из них более 8,7 миллиона погибли на полях сражений, 7,42 миллиона человек были целенаправленно и хладнокровно убиты нацистами. Свыше 5 миллионов — насильно угнаны в рабство в Германию и оккупированные вермахтом европейские страны.
Дата 22 июня до сих пор отзывается скорбью, грустью и болью за искалеченные судьбы миллионов людей. Нет такой семьи в нашей стране и в бывших республиках Советского Союза, которую не затронула бы та страшная война. Нет сроков давности по преступлениям, совершённым нацистами и их подручными на нашей земле. В этот день мы склоняем головы в память о наших предках, погибших в годы войны.

В преддверии этой даты сотрудники Генконсульства возложили цветы к памятникам советским солдатам в Лебесбю, Биллефьорд и на о.Сёрёйя.

⚡️ Russian Foreign Ministry statement in connection with the US strikes on Iran (June 22, 2025)
❗️ Russia resolutely condemns the United States’ strikes on several nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, carried out in the early hours of June 22, following recent attacks by Israel.
This reckless decision to launch missile and aerial strikes on the territory of a sovereign state, regardless of the justifications offered, constitutes a blatant violation of international law, the #UNCharter, and relevant resolutions by the UN Security Council, which has consistently and unequivocally deemed such actions unacceptable. Particularly concerning is the fact that the strikes were executed by a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
☢️ The consequences of this action, including potential radioactive effects, have yet to be determined. However, it is already evident that a dangerous escalation is underway, one that threatens to further destabilise security both in the region and globally. This has drastically increased the likelihood of a larger conflict in the #MiddleEast, a region already plagued by numerous crises.
The attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have dealt a substantial blow to the global non-proliferation regime built around the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (#NPT), which raises particular concerns. They have significantly undermined both the credibility of the NPT and the integrity of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) monitoring and verification mechanisms that underpin it.
We expect the IAEA leadership to respond promptly, professionally, and transparently, avoiding vague language or efforts to hide behind political ‘equidistance.’ An unbiased and objective report from the Director General is required, to be submitted for consideration at the Agency’s upcoming special session.
Obviously, the UN Security Council must take a firm stance as well. Confrontational and destabilising actions taken by the United States and Israel must be collectively rejected.
☝️ We call for an immediate end to aggression and for stepping up efforts to bring the situation back onto a peaceful, diplomatic track.

Как известно, в ранние утренние часы 22 июня ВВС США в полном взаимодействии и координации с авиацией Израиля, которая уже более недели в нарушение базовых принципов международного права осуществляет массированные удары по гражданским объектам и инфраструктуре Ирана, нанесли неспровоцированные ракетно-бомбовые удары по трём ядерным объектам ИРИ, находящимся под гарантиями МАГАТЭ — Фордо, Натанзу и Исфахану.
⚠️Таким образом Вашингтон в очередной раз продемонстрировал полное пренебрежение к позиции международного сообщества и подтвердил, что ради интересов своего израильского союзника он готов не только закрывать глаза на убийство десятков тысяч палестинских женщин, детей и стариков, но и поставить на карту безопасность и благополучие всего человечества.

Вашингтон совершенно не заботят ни радиологические последствия, ни угроза для жизни и здоровья огромного числа мирных жителей, включая женщин и детей, в регионе и за его пределами.
Вслед за З.Иерусалимом там возомнили себя верховным судьей, который имеет право вершить правосудие так, как ему заблагорассудится.
☝️Хотелось бы напомнить, что на подобные действия никто США не уполномочивал.
Мы настойчиво предлагали американским коллегам свои посреднические услуги для того, чтобы найти мирное взаимоприемлемое решение противоречиям вокруг иранской ядерной программы.
❗️Но дипломатия нашим американским коллегам сегодня явно не нужна.

Совет Безопасности ООН просто обязан выработать коллективное решение, которое сделало бы недопустимыми удары по объектам иранской инфраструктуры мирного атома, находящимся под гарантиями МАГАТЭ.
В этих целях Российская Федерация, Китай и Пакистан подготовили и распространили сегодня утром краткий и сбалансированный проект резолюции Совета Безопасности ООН с призывом к немедленному и безусловному прекращению огня и поиску дипломатического решения вокруг иранской ядерной программы.
Текст отражает позиции подавляющего большинства членов СБ, озвученные в ходе наших заседаний 13 и 20 июня.
👉Рассчитываем на поддержку всех членов Совета с тем, чтобы он смог как можно скорее направить сигнал о необходимости немедленного прекращения насилия.

18-22 июня с.г. состоялась рабочая поездка Чрезвычайного и Полномочного Посла России в Королевстве Норвегия Н.В.Корчунова на архипелаг Шпицберген. В ходе визита Посол встретился с Губернатором Шпицбергена Л.Фаусе, Генеральным директором ФГУП «ГТ «Арктикуголь» И.А.Неверовым, посетил Генеральное консульство Российской Федерации в Баренцбурге, Российский научный центр на Шпицбергене (РНЦШ), включая научную станцию Арктического и антарктического научно-исследовательского института (ААНИИ) Росгидромета, ряд объектов социального назначения поселка и угольную шахту. Также Н.В.Корчунов побывал в российских поселках Пирамида и Грумант, входящих в экосистему «Арктикугля».
