During Navruz, our people preserve good traditions of humanism, such as visiting orphans and the disabled, showing respect for parents, as well as charity and helping the needy.
For us, Tajiks, and other peoples of the cultural circle, Navruz is a great pride that this ancient holiday is included in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and has been celebrated worldwide as an international holiday since 2010.
Recognition of Navruz at the world level obliges us to observe and preserve its moral and spiritual traditions inherent in the Tajik people even more carefully and to present them to the world with dignity.
Once again I sincerely congratulate all inhabitants of the country, all Tajiks and Persian-speaking peoples of the world, as well as all representatives of the Navruz civilization on the advent of the New Year of ancestors - International Navruz.
I wish that peace, tranquility, political stability and national unity in our independent Tajikistan will be eternal.
