This technological aspect, is what we'll concentrate on for a moment. Several things came to light over the past few decades, not just about the Aratta, but about the Sumerians and several other cultures.
This all began with an account from a sheep herder in Jordan, who in 1973 walked into the US embassy and handed over a piece of papyrus that, after some deliberation was not only found to be a chapter from the old testament (the story of Abraham), but was also thousands of years old and like the Dead Sea Scrolls had been hidden in Alabaster jars. After reading what this chapter stated, it was immediately classified by the CIA, never to be released and neither would the rest of the contents of those jars.
It wasn't until it was tucked away within a batch of documents, that were obtained through an FOIA request, that we even know about these ancient copies of the old testament in the first place (along with the CIA's expeditions to Mount Ararat in Turkey, after a spy plane flyover revealed an anomaly that looked, rather suspiciously, like Noah's Ark? But that's a topic for another time, as this digression is likely to make you and me, lose focus. Sooo...)
After that papyrus chapter of the old testament, was handed to them it immediately set off the CIA's archeology department jetting off in all directions and by the collapse of the Soviet Union, saw them, rubbing their hands and turning their attention to the Ukraine. They knew something was there and knew this, because of another expedition to that area, that had taken place just over 50 years prior, during WW2.
You see, there was a reason why Himmler condemned the Romany's and Slavs to the fate he did (ie: their deaths) and in particular their older generation and this was because, they were the ones, who held the evidence of the Aratta, in the form of their folk tales. Without those tales, the knowledge of the Aratta would be lost and known only by those in Himmler's inner circle. Why Himmler's inner circle and not Hitler's?
Because Hitler was never the brains of the operation, nor was he the one calling the shots! (again topic for another time, let's keep focused here..)
Himmler was obsessed with ancient artifacts, particularly what he termed 'Artifacts of Power', he found a very willing partner in this search, in the form of Hans Kamler (sometimes referred to as Komler, or Kromer) who was the head of the Nazi's equivalent to the US's area 51, or their black projects division at a place called Wenceslas mine in Poland (look up Die Glocke aka the Nazi Bell, for more information).
Both Himmler and Kamler had an unhealthy interest in the area of the Ukraine and now that you know of the Aratta, you can see why?
You should also understand now, why the CIA have had just as keen an interest in the area too, as has Putin.

Well, in order to make the Slavs and Romany's seem evil enough, to justify their mass murder, in order to wipe any memory of the ruins of Aratta and the tales of fantastical and magical objects contained within those ruins, they needed to come up with something that would give them that justification.

You can probably guess what I'm going to say now, can't you?

The Khazarian empire, was initially thought up by German propagandists and over the subsequent years (much like the protocols of the Elders of Zion) has been added to and updated by many a conspiracy grifter and intelligence led agency alike.
Admittedly, this lore they made up, much like a great deal of Goerbols' other propaganda pieces, was expertly crafted and incredibly compelling as well as convincing.
Most of it, wasn't remotely true however. What was true, was stolen from the histories and myths of the area itself.

In a genius move, the ID theft aspects of the Kazar's was very likely Goerbols aping his own work and a jibe at those who were taken in by his tale and not something that he wasn't prone to doing often, almost like an artist would lend his signature to a piece of art, Goerbols' vanity saw him do the same, with his own work.
This was all in an effort to mask the real reasons for any interest in the area and the existence of the Arattan civilisation as a whole. After all, if you believe a fictional empire existed there, then why would you seek out a real one, you'd likely never heard of?
It also gave justification, for the extermination of the very people that held that knowledge, thus wiping it from history.
It is the reason why the Sumerians, aren't taught in high schools and remain largely ignored, even by those in academic circles, because of the evidence of the existence of the Aratta, within their myths and legends. Which is why the Aratta were also, either ignored, or dismissed as even existing to a far worse degree, until very recently and still are in most part.
Knowledge of them, especially widespread knowledge, threatens the secrecy surrounding the acquisition of their artifacts.
It also does something else. Something that I haven't mentioned yet and why they'd rather have you chasing made up ghosts, like the Khazarians:
The Anunaki, those "Alien" gods that the Sumerians worshiped.
They weren't gods.

They weren't even Aliens.

They were humans.

They were the Aratta and they were unbelievably technologically advanced!
