I think they should do a major archeological dig on Salisbury plain. During WWII the entire area was used as an artillery range and tank training ground. The tank tracks and tank wrecks can still be seen. But among all these shell holes there are clear remains of a large Neolithic settlement.

It would not take much to clear an area of unexploded ordnance. Yes, this was what I did in the military. Bombs and shiiiet.
