For “God” to be God it requires an UNCHANGING & ETERNAL CHARACTER OF SUPREME GOODNESS. This is why the Bible God can NEVER be “God” - Yahweh is a highly flawed imposter being with an incredibly evil character.

It doesn’t matter if you think the OLB itself is “authentic” or if you think it is a copy of something older. Whether you think it is “authentic” or not is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. What matters is that the WORDS THEMSELVES, the MESSAGE & THE SPIRITUAL WISDOM ARE TRUE. This is why LOTR is FAR more TRUE, spiritually speaking, than the Bible. Because LOTR teaches deep & eternal spiritual Wisdom. The OLB’s denoscription of the character of the Supreme Father IS TRUE. And for this reason and many others, the work is of incredible eternal spiritual value.
