▪️The country is expected to have a high unemployment rate of around 30% because of the war. Kiev has developed a mechanism on how to involve the unemployed in public utility work, Sviridenko said on the ministry's website.
▪️The state will pay them at the level of the minimum wage (6,700 UAH), Sviridenko said.
▪️The unemployed can be engaged in such work:
- setting up and reinforcing roadblocks, cutting down trees to form trenches;
- collecting firewood for the military and the population;
- removal of debris and restoration of houses and other premises damaged in the fighting;
- Consolidation of dams;
- Cleaning of roads from debris;
- Unloading of humanitarian aid;
- Equipping basements in multi-storey buildings and schools for shelter
- Repair and restoration work on social welfare facilities;
- assistance to internally displaced people, people with disabilities, the elderly.
❗️Community service has already been introduced in the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.

On October 13, 2022, a record range of modern fighters was fixed over the Poltava region. The palm of superiority in this case is tested by two domestic complexes: S-300V4 and S-400. They are descendants of the legendary Soviet S-300 complex, which has not lost its relevance in modern conflicts so far.

One of these systems was able to hit a Ukrainian Su-27 at a range of 217 km. That far surpasses the previous documented record, when on February 25, 2022, in the skies over Kiev, the S-400 also destroyed a Ukrainian Air Force Su-27.

In this case, the class of target is very important. The Su-27 is still a very good fighter, capable of performing aerobatics and evading most anti-aircraft missiles effectively. To shoot down such an aircraft at an ultra-long range is a unique achievement. This is indeed a magnificent result, which no Western SAM system can boast of.

The attentive reader will probably be surprised. How could it be? Both systems' technical specifications claim the ability to hit targets at much greater ranges, and the shooting down of a plane at a distance of 217 km is presented as an extraordinary achievement!Is it possible that the specifications and technical characteristics were written out of thin air? Absolutely not!

The specifications indicate the maximum potential range to hit the target under ideal conditions. That is, the target should be moving at a high enough altitude to be detected by the SAM radar and hit effectively. Long-range systems, by their very presence, force enemy aircraft to travel at ultra-low altitudes, at which they can be destroyed by a much greater variety of assets, as well as crash. For example, the remnants of the Ukrainian air force currently have to travel at extremely low altitudes and still regularly fall victim to our SAM systems.

The S-300V4 and S-400 complexes are rightly the pride of the domestic military-industrial complex, controlling the majority of Ukrainian airspace even from Russian territory.
