Aristovich admits "significant Ukrainian losses" in Bakhmut

While the Russian Federation is sending "continuous waves of infantry" to Bakhmut, causing significant losses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are preparing a reserve, which they are preparing to use in Ukraine, said Oleksyi Arestovich, adviser to the Ukrainian President’s Office.

Now Ukraine is on the defensive "instead of successful counteroffensives," but the further advancement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces "directly depends on the supply of Western military equipment and weapons," he said.

He also named two factors that will be significant next year:
1. The pace and quantity of military support provided to Ukraine by the West.
2. How and where the personnel reserve of the Russian Federation will be applied.
