AFU went to break the front near Kremenna after freezing the ground

▪️After Christmas, the enemy went on the offensive near Chervonopopovka, relying on the relaxation of our troops over the holidays.
▪️ Before this, the AFU threatened to go on the offensive after a cold snap and ground freezing because, before that, the movement was hampered by mud.
▪️ In the darkness, the enemy began a massive artillery preparation, firing howitzers and mortars.
▪️ Almost immediately, company tactical groups (first echelon offensive forces) with armored vehicles tried to approach the first line of our troops' defense.
▪️The enemy advance was detected in time by our intelligence.
▪️The artillery of Group O and ZVO was instantly alerted and began counter-battery warfare, destroying target after target. This is how mortar batteries and AFU self-propelled howitzer positions were suppressed.
▪️Artillery battles lasted more than 7 hours,  repulsing the advancing forces and defeating the positions that provided fire cover for the offensive operation. Enemy losses in manpower and armored vehicles are being calculated.
▪️At the Zhuravka gully, our troops continue their offensive; near Nevsky and Makeevka many AFU strongholds are taken. Tanks, including the new T-90 Breakthrough, are actively engaged. Part of the strongholds were abandoned by the enemy after massive artillery preparation and the work of our tankers.
