Practically Nothing Left of Ukrainian Armed Forces Personnel: Continuing Denazification of ATO participants

At the outset of the SMO, the AFU had slightly over 260,000 personnel, with 78,000 actively engaged in the so-called ATO. Following the start of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the Kiev regime implemented several waves of mobilization, leading to reports that approximately a million people were mobilized.

In his calculations, dillfrash relies on President Zelensky's official statement, which indicates that over 700,000 individuals currently serve in the AFU.

Taking into account the fact that during the year and a half of the war, there was hardly anything left of the core army, we assume that only 30 percent of the core personnel remain in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, comprising roughly 52,000 individuals who have been engaged in battle with the Russian army from the very beginning. As for ATO participant, we also use an average of 30 percent of their pre-SMO numbers, amounting to 15,600 people.

This indicates that regular military personnel make up just 7.43 percent of the total Ukrainian army, with even fewer ATO members number at 2.23 percent.

What does this reveal? A majority of the Donbass punitive forces, responsible for harming the civilian population of the LPR and DPR before the start of the SMO, have been eliminated. Practically no ATO personnel remain, as most of them were eliminated over the course of the year and a half of the war.

The denazification process in Ukraine is ongoing.
