Ukrainian channel Rezident:
In the United States, they are increasingly talking about developing relations with Ukraine according to the “Israeli model,” writes The American Conservative. The point of this policy is to make Kyiv dependent on Washington and its funding outside NATO. But experts warn: the “Israeli model” will be a failure for Ukraine.
The “Israeli model” of relations does not work even with Israel. Why bring it to life in Ukraine?
At a recent meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, the head of the American military department, Lloyd Austin, announced another aid package to Ukraine worth $200 million. This is in addition to the 40 billion already donated by Washington. According to the Wall Street Journal, this assistance includes: additional artillery systems, HIMARS ammunition, precision aircraft munitions, electronic warfare, missiles, anti-tank systems, small arms and more than 16 million rounds of ammunition.
But this aid package has its own, additional subtext. First, these supplies should calm Zelensky, who was angry that he was not invited to Vilnius for the NATO summit in July. Secondly, and even more important from the point of view of the Washington establishment, this assistance should put Ukraine on the path of permanent dependence on the United States.
And this path has its own name. In Washington, it is most often called the “Israeli model.” This model means that Washington, even in the absence of a formal alliance treaty, will provide Ukraine with significant financial, economic and military assistance, intelligence, and diplomatic support, receiving virtually nothing in return. The point of such a policy is to tie Washington and its European allies to Ukraine outside the NATO framework.
Given the events of the past week, such a policy should at least be discussed in detail and its merits assessed. But Washington is Washington, and such discussions are unlikely.
However, since the July NATO summit in Vilnius, the Israeli model has become the preferred alternative to NATO membership for Ukraine's most committed supporters.
Neoconservative journalist Susan Glasser has written a glowing new biography of Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan. She reports on Sullivan's attempts to convince Zelensky of the feasibility of the Israeli model. At pains to portray Sullivan as a modern-day Metternich, Glasser quotes him as saying that the administration “had been talking about this for a long time, and the President said that at the meeting in Kiev he wanted to make his point that the path to entry exists in NATO - even if it is not now, but later. And the bridge to membership in the alliance is the Israeli model."
Glasser further writes: “American officials, meanwhile, held two rounds of formal negotiations with Ukraine on the articles of the memorandum of understanding, which is Sullivan’s “Israeli model.”
Accordingly, the question arises: is the so-called Israeli model suitable for Ukraine?

Ukrainian channel Legitimny:
Many of our sources have noticed that Bankova no longer uses the narrative that the Russian Federation is running out of missiles due to sanctions.
Now the narrative goes like this: the Russian Armed Forces are accumulating missile potential for a winter military campaign and a massive strike on Ukrainian infrastructure.
It turns out that Bankovaya itself confirms that the sanctions case that Ermak lobbied for failed. The Russians are bypassing it, and have also learned to produce many things themselves.
Formally, the Office of the President lost all areas that were controlled by functionaries.
If the West cuts back new loans, then we can talk about the collapse of ZeErmak’s chosen strategy.

🇺🇦🤡 Congress is full of fools: American businessmen ridicule financial assistance to Ukraine
▪️Entrepreneur David Sachs recalled that last year the United States allocated more than $100 billion to Kyiv for an unsuccessful counteroffensive.
💬 “Now in Washington they claim that another 60 billion dollars will help turn the situation around. Only fools can believe this,” the businessman wrote.
▪️Elon Musk, in turn, commented on this publication with the words: “there are a lot of fools there.” Assuming that there are many in Congress who support the allocation of new aid.

🔴 Most likely, North Korean ammunition has already reached warehouses in western Russia - British intelligence
⏺ Despite Russia's official rejection of recent reports, it is almost certain that North Korean munitions have already reached storage facilities in western Russia.
⏺ If North Korea maintains the recent size and pace of military shipments (more than 1,000 containers in the last few weeks), it will become one of the most significant foreign arms suppliers to Russia, along with Iran and Belarus.
⏺ It is currently unclear what Russia has agreed to provide to North Korea in return, and negotiations on this issue are likely ongoing.
⏺ Most likely, Russia will pay in return with financial and economic support, as well as provide military and other high technologies, in particular those related to the space sector.

Novosibirsk residents found this beady-eyed feathered creature in a trench in the SMO zone. They went out and took it with them to their positions. To be more precise, the bird is tearing itself up.
A baby bird fell out of the nest during the AFU shelling. The featherless baby was picked up by a detachment of Siberians and DNR soldiers. They brought him to the headquarters, warmed him up and treated him. The poor thing could neither eat nor fly, so they had to teach it.
The foundling recognized his family in the fighters. Once the guys lost him when they had to move to a neighboring point. They drove away. They arrived at the place and... out flew the owl. Turns out he was hiding in the spare. So he travels, becoming the mascot of the squad. The guys are thinking about a call sign for the feathered fighter.

Military Chronicle:
What will change with the advent of Lancet drones with a new guidance system: analysis of Military Chronicle
Loitering ammunition of this family has been used for a long time, but with the appearance of the Izdeliye-53 on the battlefield, the situation may change radically.
What happened?
As we reported earlier, units of the Russian Armed Forces began using a new type of Lancet drone with an automatic guidance system against ground targets. Relatively little time has passed since the first reports about the alleged use of Izdeliye-53 loitering ammunition, but several episodes have already been published online - the destruction of the Czech RM-70 MLRS, the Czech self-propelled gun vz.77 Dana and the Ukrainian T-64B tanks, which suggests the idea of both expanding the geography of combat use and increasing the intensity of strikes.
What are the differences between the new Lancet and the old one?
“Izdeliye-51” and “Izdeliye-52” were used against targets in semi-automatic mode. To accurately hit a vehicle or object, operator intervention was required. The new Izdeliye-53 drone reduces the influence of the human factor on the process of hitting a target and increases the chances of destruction with the first hit.
Judging by the already published episodes, the automatic targeting system performs several functions at once: without operator intervention, it recognizes targets against the background of the ground (buildings or vegetation), automatically separates military/priority targets from civilian/secondary ones and captures them for strike.
According to Military Chronicle, the Lancet auto-guidance system is currently being actively tested to synchronize drones and their mass use as part of a swarm.
In the future, such an approach may not only make it possible to create anti-tank barriers over vast territories, but will also make it possible to conduct coordinated attacks to disrupt enemy offensive operations or quickly destroy critical infrastructure.
What could this lead to?
The use of Lancets with an automatic target guidance and distribution system has not yet reached the same scale as the use of Lancets of previous versions, however, it can be expected that over time Izdeliye-53 will gradually replace all other versions and will be used everywhere.
The appearance and distribution of Izdeliye-53 among the troops (both in individual transport and launch containers and self-propelled launchers on various chassis) will allow the use of new loitering ammunition more widely, in new tactical scenarios and for new tasks. For example, to create ambushes, organize massive combined strikes against various targets, deny access and maneuver.
Launchers for 20-40 Lancet UAVs based on armored vehicles like the KamAZ-5350 Patrol can be used as high-precision multiple launch rocket systems. Currently, running the Lancet requires an SUV with a trailer.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 “Very serious threat”: The Russian army is advancing near Avdeevka, trying to create a bridgehead for entering the city
▪️The famous Kiev military propagandist Yu. Butusov admitted that the Russian army north of Avdeevka managed to advance along the railway track and occupy an area up to a kilometer wide.
▪️The Russian Armed Forces are trying to expand the controlled corridor and create conditions for a further offensive in the direction of Stepovo-Berdich, and in the direction of the Avdeevsky Coke Industrial Zone.
❗️ “This is a very serious threat that requires maximum attention. The enemy hopes to gain a foothold in the factory building and gain a bridgehead for entering the city. South of Avdeevka, Russian troops continue attacks with the aim of capturing a sand quarry in the area of the village of Opytnoye,” writes Butusov.
▪️And in the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “everything is fine” - all Russian attacks were repelled, but the Russian Armed Forces do not give up attempts to surround the city.
