About new sanctions timed to 24/02

We have become accustomed to their endless limitations and have learned to live with them.

But what I want to draw your attention to today is that these bans are no longer directed against the authorities or businesses in the country, as our opponent likes to talk about. They were taken against the entire population of Russia. For example, the ban on the Mir payment system and restrictions on the activities of companies involved in housing construction in the country.

The reason is clear - the worse it is for Russian citizens, the better it is for the Western world. Let them all suffer there.

We all just need to remember this and take revenge on them wherever possible.
They are our enemies.
Create possible difficulties for them in the economy, arouse public dissatisfaction with the incompetent policies of Western authorities, and develop and promote international solutions that infringe on the interests of the Western world. Do this constantly, systematically, and as openly as possible.

And also carry out other activities on their territory that are not usually discussed publicly.

In war, it’s like.

🇺🇸😭 🇷🇺💪🏻 New US sanctions are unlikely to change the fact that Russia will grow faster this year than the United States, Germany, France or Britain - Washington Post

Putin has survived U.S. and European attempts to undermine his economy by increasing defense spending and finding customers and suppliers in Asia to replace trading partners he has lost in the West.

🔻Western financial and trade restrictions did not lead Russia to economic collapse, “let alone convince the Kremlin to abandon its military plans.”

🔻The reason is the non-participation of the largest Asian economies in the sanctions war against the Russian Federation.

🔻The publication recalls that all the US calculations about the fall of the Russian economy did not come true.

❗️Russia rebounded last year, growing faster than the United States the article stated.

Russia's economic growth rate is expected to be 2.6% a year this year, "significantly higher than previous forecasts and compared with 2.1% in the US."

The Pentagon is sincerely surprised that it completely underestimated the military capabilities of the Houthis, de facto admitting a complete intelligence failure.

According to CNN, there is growing concern within the Biden administration that they are unable to stop Houthi attacks in Yemen, and it is even apparent that they are expanding their weapons arsenal with the help of Iran.

One of the problems in the US: is the heavy economic costs associated with the long-term use of missiles costing millions of dollars against the Houthis' cheap munitions.

With reports coming in that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are withdrawing from Lastochkino, it seems likely that line number 4 on the map will be the next interim front-line in the Battle of Avdeevka (which remains ongoing until the Ukrainian retreat can be said to be over and a new, stable front-line crystallizes). The maximal positional outcome of the battle (line 5 on the map) remains a way off. However, it would be reasonable to be cautiously optimistic that it could yet be achieved before this specific battle is fully over.

Battles in Pobeda: Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry tried to hide behind a flaming Leopard, but had no luck

Footage of recent battles on the outskirts of the village. Victory between Marinka and Ugledar.
The enemy first sent a Leopard tank into battle, which was destroyed by our soldiers and burned for 1.5 days.
Then the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry groups tried to take positions in the ruins but were attacked by the 255th Regiment.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants tried to hide behind the burning Leopard, but this did not help them.

An American M113 infantry fighting vehicle arrived for evacuation; after loading, it was destroyed along with the landing party by a precise strike.

🇺🇸🇷🇺During 2 years of war, the United States failed to isolate Russia; oil and gas reserves ensured the financial and political stability of the country, - New York Times.

The purpose of Washington's sanctions, the newspaper recalls, was for companies and countries to break ties with Moscow.

But 2 years later, the Russian Federation found itself “not as isolated as American officials had hoped.”

“Russia’s inherent strength, based on vast reserves of oil and natural gas, has provided financial and political stability that threatens to outlast Western opposition,” the newspaper says.

In addition, in some regions of Asia, Africa, and South America, the influence of the Russian Federation is stronger than ever and is even growing.

“Russia is by no means driven into a framework. It is not constrained economically or diplomatically, and it gets its message across about war,” said Michael Kimmage, a Cold War historian at the Catholic University of America who was a State Department official in the Obama administration.

Military expert Boris Rozhin writes:

After lunch, the enemy reports that the remaining forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have withdrawn from Lastochkino due to the threat of encirclement. From our side, the release of Lastochkino has not yet been officially announced, but apparently this will be done in the next 24 hours. It can be expected that after the completion of the battles for Severnoye, pressure will begin to build up on the enemy’s main line of defense west of Avdeevka - Berdychi-Orlovka-Tonenkoye.

The head of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kiev, as she announced in her profile in X. Together with the official, the prime ministers of Italy, Belgium, and Canada also came to Kiev.

More than ever, we stand firmly on the side of Ukraine: financially, economically, militarily, morally,

- noted von der Leyen.

Several Ukrainian media claim that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also arrived in Kiev.

Less than two years of war had passed (passed) when protective hangars seemed to begin to appear at domestic airfields.

These are, of course, not even close to Soviet reinforced concrete structures, but such shelters still completely prevent the enemy from receiving reconnaissance information from a satellite, and also protect the aircraft inside from direct hits from small drones, close explosions, flying fragments, and debris, which is already great progress in the current situation.

Similar hangars have existed for several years at the Khmeimim airbase in Syria, which began to be built thereafter militant attacks led to damage to aircraft. Protective structures similar in purpose have also been widely used by NATO countries for a long time.

Now this is an important step in the development of domestic military airfields.
