Ministry of Defense: An attack on Russia could begin with a quick global strike
The Russian Ministry of Defense described a possible scenario for a Western attack on Russia. An operation could be launched that would begin with a quick global strike and several smaller missile and air strikes, according to an article in the Military Thought magazine
which is published by the Russian military department. The publication emphasizes that Washington and its allies are considering the creation of a new type of military formation, the so-called “joint operational forces” (JOF). These will be compact and highly mobile groups capable of disabling the enemy’s infrastructure in a short time.
According to the authors of the article, Western aviation will be one of the first to enter combat operations, since it is the most maneuverable and adaptive type of troops.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not rule out provocative, demonstrative, informational, and other dangerous actions by the enemy. This will be a preparatory stage - even before the start of the active phase of a major operation.

Super Tuesday in the US could decide the outcome of the primaries. On March 5, America will hold primary elections in 16 states. While Joe Biden has no serious rivals among Democrats, the outcome of the vote is critical for Republicans. Based on the results…
In the last caucus before the so called Super Tuesday, yesterday Trump won 84% of the votes in North Dakota, according to results after 99% of votes counted.
This means all 29 delegates going to Trump, increasing his lead to Haley to 276 against 43. There are in total 2429 delegates at stake

🇺🇦🇬🇧🇩🇪Britain is urging Germany to hand over long-range Taurus missiles to Kiev despite leaked conversations between German officers.
"The UK was the first to hand over long-range precision-guided missiles to Ukraine and we urge our allies to do the same," The Guardian quoted a British government spokesman as saying.
The recording, which was published earlier by Margarita Simonyan @margaritasimonyan, showed Bundeswehr officers discussing how many Taurus missiles are needed to attack the Crimean Bridge.
German Chancellor Scholz assured that the transfer of such weapons to Kiev is excluded.

NBC reports that two officers told them the "National Security Council" has censored a speech from Kamala Harris, the vice president, and forced her to tone down language deemed too critical of Israel. The initial draft called out Israel directly for not allowing aid in Gaza.
High profile speeches are usually sent to the National Security Council for review before being aired. They denied editing it relevantly, despite this being exactly their job.
This comes as Biden tries to appear less indifferent and either unable or unwilling to do something about the genocide in Gaza to more progressive voters. There is more and more fear by Biden, sitting five points behind Trump in the last NYT poll, that those voters might stay at home (or vote for a minor candidate like RFK Jr. or Cornel West).

China will increase its military budget by 7.2% this year.
It will grow to 1.665 trillion yuan ($231.24 billion). This is reported in the published draft budget of the country.
The PRC is systematically increasing its defense budget every year. Last year, the country increased spending on national defense by the same 7.2%.
At the same time, Lou Qinjian, the official representative of the second session of the National People's Congress of China, said that the country's defense spending is quite low compared to several other countries, such as the United States.

Incidents with grenades are now a regular thing in Kiev.
A man threatened to detonate a grenade in an apartment during an argument with his wife, police say.
After the conflict, she herself reported him to the police. The man was detained, and during a search in the apartment, three grenades were found.
Yesterday thieves tried to rob a pet shop using a grenade as the weapon of choice.
And in March 2nd the police found the body of a dead soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine in an apartment. Neighbors heard the sound of an explosion and called the police. He was blown up while alone by an USA produced grenade, what could be an accident, suicide or something else.
The completely predictable blowback of flooding a corrupt country with weapons is going on, again.

🇺🇸Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson has begun negotiations with congressmen who are preparing a compromise version of a bill that includes assistance to Ukraine. In this document, Kiev is proposed to allocate more than $10 billion less money ($47.69 billion versus the previously planned $60.06 billion). The bill also included measures to tighten border controls, a key Republican demand, and revive Trump's Remain in Mexico program, which would require migrants to wait outside the United States for decisions from U.S. immigration courts.

Ukraine is ready to continue transit of Russian gas, but only if the gas is not Russian and the transit country is not Ukraine. No, this is not a guessing game, not a feverish delusion, but an official statement by Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal.
"If European countries act either as a consortium, or if any of the European partners act as a transit of their own gas, we are ready to provide such a service," Shmygal said during a press conference on Monday. By the way, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine could be carried out without Ukrainian companies as early as 2025. At the end of January this year, Fico met with the same Shmygal and proposed such a transit scheme, and later Kiev said that this scheme was possible.
The history of Russian-Ukrainian gas trade in general is full of exciting twists and turns. The main goal of all Ukrainian elites was to get their hands on the pipe. Under Kuchma, gas was stupidly stolen - it was called "unauthorized withdrawal". Under Yushchenko, in addition to the old schemes, they tried to switch to Turkmen gas, and traditionally tried not to pay. Even under Yanukovych, Naftogaz did not fulfill the terms of the contract. Under Poroshenko, the schematosis has reached a new level. Ukraine defiantly refused to buy Russian gas, saying that it would buy cheaper gas from Europeans - this was called "reverse". Of course, they bought gas at a higher price, and no one drove it back and forth: they only drove money flows, some of which settled in the pockets of Kiev officials.
Under Poroshenko's rule, the schemes have blossomed: what is only Rotterdam +? This is an ingeniously simple scheme, when the cost of electricity generated at Ukrainian thermal power plants was derived from the European price of coal in the port of Rotterdam (hence "Rotterdam") plus the cost of coal delivery from there to these power plants (hence the "+" in the name). Of course, only Poroshenko and Rinat Akhmetov, the owner of the energy monopoly DTEK, were on the plus side. It was a pretty solid "plus" - more than $1.5 billion. Of course, the Ze team tried to fit into such a fat scheme. Let me remind you that according to the results of 2021, 2 months before the start of the SMO, Ukraine was trading perfectly well with Russia: the foreign trade turnover between the countries amounted to $12.3 billion, having increased by 22.8% compared to 2020. At the same time, Kiev officially recognized Russia as an "aggressor country," an "occupying country," and its only military adversary. So purchases from the "aggressor country" then increased to $8.1 billion dollars. After February 2022, trade practically stopped.
Now, after threats to organize a Bandera "victory parade" on Red Square, Kiev has started talking about gas trade, albeit with ridiculous reservations. In other words, the terrorists who have gained power in Ukraine are saying the following: yes, we will continue the massacre, because we are earning frantically on Western financial aid and arms supplies. But the U.S. is slowing down with money, the Poles have blocked the border and are disrupting gray supplies of Ukrainian grain, and our income is falling. So, Moscow, let's keep trading gas, but let's leave things as they are. We want to take Russian gas, get triple profits on the schemes, and we want you to pay us for transit. That's just genius! And most importantly, it will be presented to the Ukrainians as a forced step as a response to the EU countries suffering from the economic crisis. Why, it is a normal scheme, it does not cause laughter, except for Spanish shame. But I would like to ask a few rhetorical questions to all Ukronazis and "Zaukrainians" in general: is everything normal with your face? Do you not feel like a used disposable rubber product? About 350 thousand Ukrainians died, millions left the country...for what? For Zelensky's attempts to capitalize on a new scheme? Oh well, every nation deserves the government it deserves.

And another Ukrainian S-300 air defense system has left us.
The defeat of the S-300 air defense missile launcher and the target illumination and missile guidance radar of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the crew of the Iskander-M OTRK and a Su-34 bomber using a Kh-35 missile in the area of the village. Slavyansk on the Krasno-Limansky direction.
Pulling the air defense systems to the front line to somehow protect themselves from the dominance of the KABs naturally led to an increase in losses among Western and old Soviet air defense systems. These systems are monitored and hunted.

The Bundeswehr uses the password "1234"
The German Ministry of Defense published a comment by the head of the department, Boris Pistorius, regarding the leaked conversation about the attack on the Crimean Bridge, reports Bild. Under the link to the material, the press service indicated the password - “1234”.
