Clark couldn't stand her and ended up marrying her. Lois Lane, who is a superhero magnet.

So I’ve came across this sub quite a few times and I actually read like I’ve seen this show and I haven’t seen 1 episode Lmaoo but I’m well aware of the series. How can y’all convince me to watch this show? What makes it worth watching?

I really dislike Chloe, but this episode I HATED her. I'm watching Smallville for the first time and I really don't understand how Clark continues to forgive Chloe. She treats him like a project, not like a best friend. She's jealous and insecure about Lana and make Clark feel incredibly bad about "invading her privacy" when tats all she ever does. I really hope she has some sort of redeeming arc bc it's making it hard for me to watch the show at all.

THAT s8 arc would have worked much better had it happened at the beginning of the season

Upon doing a re-watch, I found myself wondering if Lana's s8 arc would have worked better had it followed immediately after the first few episodes, instead of clumsily being shoehorned in the middle of the season. Obviously tweaking some events like Davis being introduced earlier, etc.
I feel like the arc did a huge disservice to both the Clana and Clois ships. Lana leaves and the next episode Clark acts like nothing happened and even has a chance to use the Legion ring to end up before Lana got the suit but doesn't. And the Clark and Lois flirtations being sidelined and then having Lois run off to Star City for those episodes just never sat well with me either.
If we get Lana's arc in the beginning of the season, we can see Clark more gradually and authentically mourn the ending of his relationship with Lana and move on. We would also see Clark and Lois growing closer more organically without that weird elephant in the room that it seems they never even got to talk about. Idk. What do you guys think??

Small observation but I think it’s funny that Jensen Ackles plays a character named Jason in a DC show. Jensen Ackles went on to voice Jason Todd/Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood almost a decade later.
Also, the storyline of him & Lana dating while he’s a coach & she’s a student is super gross.
