🤔 Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser to the US president, has said that recent disclosures about where the coronavirus came from had been “taken out of context”.

“The only trouble is [the disclosures] are really ripe to be taken out of context where someone can snip out a sentence in an email without showing the other emails, and say 'based on an email from Dr Fauci, he said such and such', where you don't really have the full context”, Fauci said in an interview on The Donlon Report.

Earlier, the doctor’s emails dated between January and June 2020 were distributed via media. Some of his letters revealed the discussion that COVID-19 might have been created in a lab.

What could it contain? How much “classified” information will the DoD reveal? Could it confirm the existence of aliens?

🐱 Really important questions?

It seems like there is nothing more serious happening in the US right now, than the moving of a rescue cat into the White House, after the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked this question during a presser.

Maybe the country's citizens want to hear updates on the coronavirus origin investigation, the cyberattack on the JBS meat producer or the released emails of Fauci?
Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's widow, called out Nike over the sneakers that were designed to honour her daughter, Gigi, after the shoes were allegedly leaked.

The black-and-white shoes, decorated with "Kobe" and "Gigi" in gold in the back and Gigi's number "2", were designed by Vanessa and Nike, but, according to Bryant, have not yet been approved for sale. According to some pictures shared online, someone - not Vanessa and her daughters - appears to already have the shoes in their possession.

🗣 "Nike has NOT sent any of these pairs to me and my girls. I do not know how someone else has their hands on shoes I designed in honor of my daughter, Gigi and we don't", Bryant wrote in an Instagram post.
🦠Keep it going! Away!

The US daily count of COVID-19 cases and the coronavirus death toll have hit their lowest amid a nationwide push to vaccinate citizens from the deadly respiratory illness, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed on Thursday.

🗣 “Our seven-day average is about 15,600 cases per day. This represents a decrease of more than 30% from our prior seven-day average,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky remarked during the briefing. “More importantly, it is a 94% decrease from the peak of COVID-19 cases we reported in January of this year.”
Meat-producing giant JBS USA said in a press release that all of its global facilities are fully operational after a cyberattack that occurred earlier this week.
🤔 How about...?

US Senators Bob Menendez and Lindsey Graham have proposed the creation of a regional nuclear fuel bank as an alternative to the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement.

This new approach would allow the nuclear issue to "multilateralize" and stop the nuclear arms race in the Middle East while finding bipartisan support in the US, according to the senators.

🗣 "If the Iranian leaders truly desire a peaceful nuclear program, then they ought to welcome the creation of a nuclear fuel bank for the Persian Gulf region," the senators wrote on Thursday.
🇮🇱 US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Benny Gantz called on Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement to build on the latest ceasefire to ensure lasting security in the region.
Donald Trump will reportedly address another Conservative Political Action Conference, this time themed as "America UnCanceled," in July.
No plans or no idea?

🗣 "As far as I know, there are no plans for Donald Trump to be in the White House in August. Maybe there’s something I don’t know," Lara Trump told the hosts of Fox & Friends on Thursday.

🤔Mike Pence has no idea if he and Donald Trump will “ever see eye to eye” over the riot on the Capitol.

The former vice-president has called on the nation to move on from “dark and tragic” events such as the unrest which took place on 6 January.

“You know, President Trump and I have spoken many times since we left office. And I don't know if we'll ever see eye to eye on that day. But I will always be proud of what we accomplished for the American people over the past four years,” he said during a speech to the annual GOP Lincoln/Reagan Dinner in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Anthony Fauci has urged China to release the medical records of nine people, which may shed light on whether the coronavirus first emerged as the result of a lab leak.

Three of those to have been infected are researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China and the other six are miners who investigated the bat cave before getting sick.

In the wake of Fauci's email having been leaked, the top medical adviser says he still believes the virus came from animals.

In one of the alleged emails, Peter Daszak, the head of EcoHealth Alliance - a non-profit organisation with ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology - reportedly thanks Fauci for downplaying the possibility that COVID-19 could have escaped from a lab.
