⚫️ Teenagers planned an ISIS*-inspired attack on a Shia mosque in Chicago area, court docs showed

Xavier Pelkey and an unnamed 17-year-old and 15-year-old were plotting an attack through Instagram and other social media apps that was supposed to be carried out during "spring break".

According to the plot, Pelkey was supposed to get firearms and ammunition and he allegedly told one of his accomplices that he had made an explosive device to "get more people."

The FBI seized multiple firearms, including a Remington pump shotgun, swords, knives, a bow and arrows, multiple homemade ISIS flags, and multiple electronic devices from the 15-year-old's home.

🏛After Senate Republicans dug into sentencing records for President Joe Biden's Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson during confirmation hearings this week, the Washington Post decided to combat their claims that she was soft on pedophiles by writing a puff piece on one of the child pornographers to whom she had given a light sentence.

Hawkins' bandmates announced his death on Friday night.

The Washington Post tracked down Wesley Hawkins, the man who received a three-month sentence in Jackson's court, and spoke to him about his crimes, the sentence, and his life since those three months in prison.

They were sympathetic to him and his struggles by way of defending Jackson's sentencing, which was under intense critique by Senate Republicans, specifically Josh Hawley (R-MO).

🥺 Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his bandmates made an emotional return to Los Angeles following the shocking death of drummer, Taylor Hawkins, on tour in Colombia.

Grohl appeared visibly stricken Saturday as he embraced a man believed to be their manager, John Silva, after touching down in the US from Bogota.

He was joined by bandmates, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee, as well as jazz singer Samantha Sidley.

Prosecutors in Colombia released a statement Saturday saying toxicological tests on urine from Hawkins’ body preliminarily found 10 psychoactive substances and medicines, including marijuana, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, and benzodiazepines.
