✊🏾🚓🚨A Black Lives Matter protester in Pennsylvania got a dose of reality when a police officer slapped him across the face during a rally against police brutality.
The officer was captured confronting the protester as chaos broke out between his colleagues and protesters at Saturday’s rally in the Pittsburgh suburb of Wilkinsburg, the Pittsburgh City Paper reported.
Video then showed officers trying to apprehend a woman backing away and shouting obscenities as a black dress-wearing protester pushed and grabbed them.
The officer then hit the protester, intervening with a left hook, as seen in a wild, now-viral photo by City Paper snapper Jared Wickerham.

💔📸Actor Johnny Depp, best known for his role in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, is speaking out about his childhood filled with violence and abuse — and how that began him on a dark path toward substance abuse.
“I’d done pretty much all the drugs I was aware of by the time I was 15 years old,” he testified. “It’s never been for the party effect,” Depp said about his substance abuse. “It’s been for trying to numb the things inside that can plague someone who has experienced trauma.”
The actor also slammed ex-wife Amber Heard’s comments about his drinking and drug use, saying they were “grossly embellished” and mostly “plainly false.”
Johnny Depp apologized in court for the foul language he used in text messages to ex-wife Amber Heard. Testimony last week revealed that Depp repeatedly called Heard a “c–t” and once texted his friend that he hoped her “rotting corpse was decomposing in the f–king trunk of a Honda Civic.”

🔻Michelle Obama's brother and sister-in-law are suing a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, school that they say kicked the niece and nephew of the ex-first lady out over complaints about racism.
The Robinsons enrolled their children, ages 11 and 9, at the school in 2016. The school expelled their older son in April 2021 and the younger one in June 2021.
Robinson said he and his wife approached the school about their concerns, but it “summarily dismissed our young children, retaliating against them because of the issues we brought up.”
Craig Robinson and his wife are intending to hold the school accountable, “not just to our two children whom they retaliated against. More importantly, there’s a whole community of people out there that we wouldn’t feel right if we weren’t going up on this. This happened moving forward”

😲🍿For the first time in a decade, Netflix lost subscribers -200,000 overall in the first three months of the year - resulting from fluctuating economic forces and increasingly fierce competition from other streaming platforms.
In a letter to shareholders, Netflix attributed its subscriber loss to several factors, including a slowdown in adopting broadband and smart TVs, password sharing among households, and increased competition from traditional cable and broadcast TV and other emerging streaming services.
Netflix had been the original disrupter in entertainment. Its emergence in the field encouraged every major studio in Hollywood to adopt a streaming strategy to better compete with Netflix’s bingeable, no-advertising revolution. Now with entrants like Disney+ and HBO Max sporting their compelling services, they are forced to use other strategies.

😨 A suspect has been arrested in connection with a body that was found in the parking lot of a Louisiana business.
Police confirmed the woman’s brutal death was broadcast on Facebook Live in a gruesome nearly 15-minute feed. Police sources said David’s hands were bound to the steering wheel and that she was found naked.
The live streaming led to the man, Earl Lee Johnson Jr., 35, being charged with murder in the killing of Janice David, 34, who was found in the vehicle on Monday night with her hands bound and body bloodied from more than 10 stabs wounds, Sgt. L’Jean McKneely, a spokesman for the Baton Rouge Police Department, said by phone.
Detectives said Johnson choked David, beat her, and stabbed her. They added it is believed the pair had been on a three or four-day drug binge together.
