The collective defence arrangement enshrined in Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty remains a “sacred obligation”, Joe Biden told reporters on Sunday, during the final day of the G7 summit in Cornwall in the UK.

"I pointed out to the G7 leaders: Article 5 is intact", Biden said, adding that the alliance is vital for American security.

Christopher Sign, a 45-year-old TV anchor, was found dead at his home in Hoover, Alabama. According to Hoover police Lieutenant Keith Czeskleba, his death is being investigated as a suicide, although no details as to why this theory is predominant are available at the moment.

The Alabama TV anchor previously indicated that he had been receiving a lot of death threats ever since he broke the story. The latter sparked allegations in 2016 that the Clintons tried to bury the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.
