🎆🌎After spending a little less than a week at the International Space Station (ISS), Boeing’s new passenger spacecraft, the CST-100 Starliner, returned to Earth Wednesday afternoon, landing intact with the help of parachutes and airbags in the New Mexico desert.

The safe return is a significant accomplishment for Boeing after the company spent years working on the program, which has been riddled with failures and delays.

Boeing’s Starliner capsule, shaped like a gumdrop, was built in partnership with NASA to launch the agency’s astronauts to and from the ISS.

A parent of one of the children who was killed in the Texas school shooting blames the police that they "didn’t do a darn thing [until] it was far too late".
