⚡️ Russian defense minister orders to boost offensive to prevent Ukrainian strikes against civilians

🙃 Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has decided to boost her chances in the leadership debates by recreating the looks of the Iron Lady. The politician came to the Friday event to face her fellow conservatives wearing a black blazer and white shirt with a pussycat bow. This outfit clearly had a striking resemblance to the one worn by Margaret Thatcher during her appearance in the 1979 leadership debate.

▪️ This is not the first time Truss has attempted to emulate Thatcher's image: during her trip to Russia earlier this year, the foreign secretary was sporting a round fur hat, similar to the one that the Tory Prime Minister wore when she traveled to Moscow in 1987.

▪️ Once again, residents of Lisichansk told how the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shelled humanitarian aid distribution sites to get a pretty picture in the western media. Apparently, those people at the top who negotiate the supply of imported weapons gave the Ukrainian soldiers this idea.

📹 Not a day goes without Joe Biden shooting a gaffe.

This time, he praised the "selfishness" of US soldiers stationed in the Middle East during his speech at the summit in Saudi Arabia, before quickly correcting himself to "honor their selflessness".

Is it that hard to read a prewritten speech?

US President Joe Biden could reportedly be at risk of impeachment if Democrats lose control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in November's midterm elections.

According to a Newsweek report, Texas Senator Ted Cruz said in January that there were "multiple grounds" to impeach Biden, while GOP Representative Ken Buck said in April that the House Judiciary Committee would "hold the hearings to determine whether impeachment is appropriate."

Calls to impeach Biden have emerged several times and have been voiced by many prominent conservatives, including Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

🙈🐻A mama bear and her baby cub entered a Monrovia, California, home earlier this month. A video of the startling incident captured them as they helped themselves to some treats in the kitchen.

The homeowner, Alice Taylor, said the mama bear removed the screen of an open window to get inside. The furry visitors went straight for the kitchen, where they discovered -- and ate -- all of the family's donuts on top of a counter.

The footage shows the elder bear standing on her hind legs to reach the countertop. Taylor said Monrovia residents are no stranger to bears, and they embrace them in their community.

😏💦Kourtney Kardashian has been criticized for overusing water amid California’s ongoing drought.

After a drought emergency in Las Virgenes Water District in December, residents have been asked to conserve water. Earlier this year, those same residents in “Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and other nearby communities” were “asked to cut their outdoor water usage in half.”

"It's unconscionable right now when you're dealing with the drought in Southern California," Steve Creech, President of the Wyland Foundation, told CBS2 investigative reporter David Goldstein.

🔎💻On Friday, Elizabeth Warren and other Democratic members of Congress sent a letter to two federal regulators, urging them to take action on the explosion of Bitcoin mining in the US.

Sent to the heads of the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy, the letter was driven by preliminary investigation from lawmakers, which found that just a handful of crypto miners use an enormous amount of energy. In response, the lawmakers ask the agencies to require that crypto-mining companies share data on their energy use and emissions.

Crypto-mining has exploded in the US over the past year,
driven partly by China’s 2021 crackdown on the practice. The US is the biggest hub globally for mining Bitcoin, typically running data centers around the clock to mine the currency.
