Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins is remembered for a massive concert in the UK.

A Friday concert by the Foo Fighters marked the band's return to live shows for the first time since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. In celebration of their late bandmate, Dave Grohl and his crew were joined by musical guests such as Sir Paul McCartney, Queen, and AC/DC. But the most touching tribute came from Hawkins' 16-year-old son Shane.

The teenager played the drums during a rendition of the band's 1997 hit "My Hero." Video of the performance from Variety editor Ethan Shanfeld shows the end of a slideshow featuring Shane and his father, played for the audience before the song begins.

⚡️Putin to Meet With Armenian Leader at Eastern Economic Forum - Lavrov

👉Liz Truss has been elected as the Conservative Party’s new leader, announced Monday, and she will take office Tuesday as Britain’s new prime minister to steer the country through an acute cost-of-living crisis.

The 47-year-old Truss, currently foreign secretary, beat former Treasury chief Rishi Sunak after a leadership contest in which only about 170,000 dues-paying members of the Conservative Party were allowed to vote. Truss received 81,326 votes, compared with Sunak’s 60,399.

She faces immediate pressure to deliver on her promises to tackle the cost-of-living crisis walloping the U.K. and an economy heading into a potentially lengthy recession.

Queen Elizabeth II is scheduled to appoint Truss as Britain’s prime minister on Tuesday formally. The ceremony will take place at the queen’s Balmoral estate in Scotland, where the monarch is spending her summer, rather than Buckingham Palace in London.

Tiafoe covered his face with his hands as he soaked up the cheers from a packed house at Arthur Ashe Stadium after breaking Nadal for the fifth time to claim the biggest upset of the tournament.

On Tuesday, at the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov announced to reporters Russia will supply energy resources to friendly states and redirect supplies to the East if the countries of the Group of Seven (G7) set a price ceiling for oil and gas from the Russian Federation.

"Any actions, including setting a price ceiling [for oil and gas], create conditions for a shortage at home, and also increase price volatility. Russia, as a reliable partner, will provide partners in friendly countries with energy resources and saturate the domestic market, of course," the minister said.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, delivered her first speech in Britain since she and husband Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties, telling a summit for young leaders that they were aiding "the positive and necessary" change in the world.

The speech came a week after the publication of an interview with “The Cut” magazine in which she again voiced criticism of how she and Harry had been treated by the royal family, causing a stir in British newspapers.

"It is very nice to be back in the UK," Meghan said in the keynote address to the One Young World summit in Manchester, northern England, which Harry, Queen Elizabeth's grandson, also attended.
