Russia’s decision to use "only 150,000 servicemen out of a million active duty military and two million reserves" is a signal to NATO that Moscow's "intentions are limited," Mark Sleboda, an international relations and security analyst, told Sputnik on the…
🎧 On Sputnik’s Political Misfits podcast, Mark Sleboda shared the view that Russia's decision to build up its military reserves is intended to "confront what is probably going to be a much bigger and decisive battle in the next week or two" during the Ukraine op.
He warned that Ukrainian neo-Nazi battalions are going to "cleanse" all of those who cooperated with Russia. Under new laws of the Kiev regime, anyone who has obtained a Russian passport, dual citizenship, or supported Russian forces on social media will be viewed as a "collaborator" by the neo-Nazis, Sleboda explained.
🗣 "We all know, let's be frank, that they're mostly going to end up shot in the back of the head, because that's what cracking. We've seen a lot of that in Bucha and elsewhere. Invariably they'll then say, 'oh, we came in and found these people dead and the Russian forces did it to them.'"

In Colorado 22-year-old Christian Glass, who had a mental health crisis, was shot by police after he called 911 for help as his car crashed into a berm. Police officers behaved aggressively and Christian started to panic and decided not to leave the car. They failed to convince Christian to leave the vehicle. In the end, the officers knocked out the car window, and pointed a weapon at him, which made the young man scared and picked up a knife. Then one of the cops used a taser on Christian, and the other shot him through the windshield.
After the incident, the police allegedly lied, saying that he tried to attack them with a knife, but this refuted by a recording from the body camera of the officer who opened fire. An examination showed that the young man was not drunk and had not taken drugs

🚧Rescuers searched Wednesday for someone missing in a mudslide that swept boulders down fire-scarred slopes. The blaze damaged or destroyed 30 homes in the Southern California mountains as firefighters in the northern part of the state tried to contain an explosive week-old blaze.
Dogs aided in the hunt for a missing person in a heavily damaged area of the San Bernardino Mountains east of Los Angeles. Thunderstorms unleashed rocks, trees, and earth that washed away cars, buried homes, and affected 3,000 residents of two remote communities.
The force of mud barreling down the mountain late Monday drove a dumpster through the walls of the Oak Glen Steakhouse and Saloon. A massive tree became lodged in the dining room, muck was waist-deep in the kitchen, and wine bottles were slathered in mud.
